the God of your fathers, is giving you. 2 In your

The focus is on hearing and observing the commandments.

Reflections on the PsalmReflections on the Psalm
To live close to God is to be just.
We watch our mouths and our steps so as not to
offend others.
Since the righteous do not disturb anyone (i.e.,
violate rights, commit injustice), they will not also
be disturbed, God says.
If we do not want to be disturbed, then we
should be just all the days of our lives.
We must practice true religion, to enjoy life.

The focus is on hearing and observing the commandments.

  • 10. Reflections on the PsalmReflections on the Psalm To live close to God is to be just. We watch our mouths and our steps so as not to offend others. Since the righteous do not disturb anyone (i.e., violate rights, commit injustice), they will not also be disturbed, God says. If we do not want to be disturbed, then we should be just all the days of our lives. We must practice true religion, to enjoy life.
