This document discusses 21st century worship and provides biblical guidance on worshipping God. It begins by noting that worship is often misunderstood and discusses how most middle-class Americans prioritize work and play over worship. It then provides four key aspects of biblical worship: 1) Acknowledge God's presence by coming into his presence with thanksgiving and praise. 2) Abdicate the throne by recognizing God as our maker and that we are his people. 3) Ascribe God's worth by praising his greatness. 4) Admit our need for God by seeking him with our whole heart. The document emphasizes that God should be the audience and focus of our worship.
Worship is a lifestyle, that expresses itself in extravagant and lavish service of the Lord. In this message we discover 6 key aspects of David's lifestyle that were affected by His worship of God. We take a close look at the Tabernacle of David and how the Church is a prophetic fulfillment of its rebuilding. We live in an hour when God is calling His people into a place of continuous worship and intercession, that will result in a great harvest of souls.
God is reviving the Church to a new place of intimacy through passionate worship. David reveals to us the heart of a worshipper. True worship is an expression of a heart that is awe of God's greatness. It is an overflow of a heart that is hungry for God, for His presence. True worship is an expression of a heart that is pursuing holiness as worship cannot take place outside of holiness. True worship comes from a heart that demonstrates undivided devotion in good times and bad, since the God we worship in unchangeable. Let us worship on earth as it is in heaven!

On a personal level, aren't we all in need of the LORD's help to one degree or another every day? As Paul reminds us in Acts, God "is not far from each one of us for in Him we live and move and exist." (Acts 17:27, 28) We need His help every moment of every day!
The Praise team ministry ushers in the presence of the Lord, by creating an atmosphere of Praise & Worship.
We engulf the congregation to come together in unity and acknowledge our Lord & Savior Jesus, through song.
We minister in song to the heart and soul. As a result, this ministry brings joy, healing and deliverance with hopes of the person encountering God’s presence each time.
We need to recover an appreciation for our work lives. I argue that Christians should begin with grace, continue in grace, and end with grace, which God provides generously for all areas of our lives.
In this lesson we examine the sacrifices that please God and what will not please Him. We ask and answer does God still require sacrifices from us today? Both slides and audio can be found together at www.cmcoc.org

Older believers have special qualifications that God often chooses to use to do great things! The Bible has many examples of God prefering to use older adults. Today, senior citizens are desperately needed to bring the Kingdom of God to earth by serving God in a multitude of ways they are uniquley gifted in.
Various churches worship in different ways. Which is the "right" way? This slideshow reveals 9 biblical aspects of praise and worship to help us have biblical worship both corporately and privately.

You & I, as children of God, are CHOSEN by God before the foundations of the world and are called to CONSECRATE ourselves from the world and its many connections in order to set ourselves apart to be COMMITTED TO SERVE of our God, our Master and Lord

Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
