In this Air Force webinar we discussed how to leverage a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tool to improve security, stay compliant and troubleshoot IT problems. Our solution, Log & Event Manager (LEM), combines log management, correlation, reporting, file integrity and user activity monitoring, USB detection and prevention, threat intelligence and active response that’s easy to deploy, manage, and use. Log management can be a powerful security tool, but collecting, storing, normalizing and analyzing logs can be time consuming and quickly gets unmanageable. Logs can also be extremely useful in demonstrating compliance, including with DISA STIGs and Risk Management Framework (RMF). This webinar convered how SolarWinds Log & Event Manager can help you: Collect, consolidate, and analyze logs and events from firewalls, IDS/IPS devices and applications, switches, routers, servers, operating system logs, and other applications Produce alerts based on your division’s specific parameters Conduct real-time correlation to identify attacks Generate root cause analysis with built-in knowledge that applies to networks, applications, and security management Leverage built-in active responses to immediately take action on security, operational, and policy driven events Quickly and easily produce out-of-the-box compliance reports for STIGs, FISMA, and more

Each of the decisions about critical obstetric patients requires a multidisciplinary team of specialists in adult critical care and maternal-fetal medicine, for the difficult understanding and management of the natural history of the disease and its complications during pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. There are not detailed guidelines in Colombia that describe the action plans in front of a pregnant or recently pregnant patient in a critical condition. For this reason, it is important to establish a consensus aiming to determine the level of critical care required for this particular population group, standardize care conditions of pregnant women and generate critical academic and ethical approaches to address this high impact strategy for reducing maternal mortality.
