A survey conducted among 613 college students and 400 employers reveals that most students prioritize doing well in college and securing a good job as key goals, with a majority feeling confident in their job prospects. Students believe that both specific and broad knowledge are important for career success, and they highly value skills such as critical thinking and teamwork, although fewer prioritize cultural awareness and language proficiency. There is a discrepancy between how well students feel prepared by their institutions compared to employer evaluations of graduates' preparedness, indicating potential areas for improvement in educational outcomes.
