Current-: Its the same place, but the inside structure changed from Contracted Small Business to
Senior Cultural Employee.
We have a Cultural Immersion Program that has been On going Since 1984.
working with Grade 4 students, and high school students aswell as University Students.
and Tour groups. Private groups too.
Each time a group comes to the North Vancouver Outdoor School Coast Salish Program.
We have them Experience life as it was Before Pre Contact.
have each group depending the size of the group that arrives.
have them go into 5 Family groups, and they will learn the Skill in the group they are placed in
and live how the Coast Salish Lived.
Each group presents its own characteristics.
so we work with each group on how they are.
adapt to them too so that they will adjust to their surroundings.
they come up for 2 days.
and the Student's Have a Cultural Immersion into the life of a Squamish Native of a Coast Salish
Village.
they stay inside a traditional Family house that is called a Bighouse or some know it as a Long
House.
it is fun and beautiful to see how each group adjust's to Coast Salish Way of life.
having to see them experience and live as it was like past 500 years ago.

I had up to 6 or more workers. and I coordinated their work Duties

and I also was Stationed up in Whistler Back Comb area at a Construction Site. Protecting the

I was Trained at St Pauls Hospital.
Through out the day I Monitored and Changed the Dialysate Fluid.
3. Monitor the Supply of Dialysate Fluid, and Gauses and any other needed medical Supplies, and
Hydrogen Peroxide, Betadine povidone-iodine. and the Box's of Nourishment of Ensure.
I was Doing this for my Mother :-
the Health Nurse and Squamish Nation had decided to have me Hired as a Home Care Worker.
My Dailey Routine was when my Patient ( my Mother) Woke up.
An exchange in three steps:
• Drain the used solution or effluent from the peritoneal cavity
• Fill the peritoneal cavity with fresh dialysis solution
• Dwell or to allow solution to remain in the peritoneal cavity for a set period of time.
This is when dialysis happens.
The Fluid Exchange is done 4 times a day.
Do the Morning Blood Pressure and needed Medication intake. and Recording the detailed
Information of the Patient, that detail will help in any needed Adjustments needed.
as there are various Strengths of the Dialysate Fluid that is used Pending on how the Patient is.
