The document describes the programs and events at Monkey See Monkey Do children's bookstore in Clarence, NY, which brings books to life for children through book-based camps, author visits, community outreach partnerships, literacy programs in local schools, and hosting free community events to promote reading and literacy. The bookstore is also planning the inaugural Western New York Children's Book Expo to be held in November 2015 with the goal of making it free and accessible to families to foster a love of reading.
The PCEC "1000 X 5" Children's Book Recycling Project is a community literacy initiative whereby free books are provided to families with young children (birth to 5 years) living on the Saanich Peninsula. It is our hope that all young children will have at least 1000 books read to them by the time they are five years-old.

School is the centre of a young person’s social world. Students are more media savvy than ever and actively choose the messages they wish to engage with. Boomerang’s network of 2000 schools allows advertisers access to students aged 6-17 via a range of creative media formats including postcards, activity sheets, goodie bags and samples.
You can reach students of all age’s via media in the learning resource centre which is a social environment used for lessons and during break time, meaning your advertising and brand will receive great word of mouth.

We focus on new book releases, holidays, seasons, and special events; continually creating programs
which have something for everyone: boys and girls, active and passive, reluctant readers and book
worms.
Free Events:
Sure we need to make money, but we also want to ensure that as many children as possible can
experience literacy in action and offer several free events each month.
