I am writing to request your assistance in making the College of Business Alumni
Association (COBAA) 24th
annual golf tournament a success. The COBAA exists to support
the College of Business at the University of Nevada, Reno in its goal of achieving excellence
in business education. Your participation in our tournament will be much appreciated! A
tournament brochure is enclosed along with other pertinent information. We strongly
encourage you to register online (golf.cobaa.org). We are currently interested in receiving
prizes for our silent auction and raffle, as well. Thank you in advance for considering our
request.
On Thursday, May 7th
, the University of Nevada, Reno COBAA will hold its 24th Annual
Golf Tournament at Wolf Run Golf Club. The purpose of this event is to raise funds to
support scholarships for business students, enhance the services offered by the College of
Business Dean’s office, and provide assistance to college clubs and organizations. With the
assistance of the community over the last five years, COBAA has been able to donate more
than $50,000 to the College of Business and its students.
In years past, the tournament has drawn over 150 participants from businesses in Northern
Nevada. I hope your business will be interested in donating a raffle or silent auction prize.
Any contribution will be greatly appreciated and will help the College of Business continue
to thrive in our community.
