Fall Cohort on Saturdays, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm:

Original information distributed indicated that October 4 was
the first session meeting, however that date has been changed.
The Pennsylvania Department of Education requires all teachers holding a
Level I certificate to participate in a PDE approved induction program.
This two-credit course is required in order to obtain a Level II certificate.
The School District of Philadelphia’s Induction Institute is a series of
specially designed workshops and classroom experiences that aim at
providing new and beginning teachers with the support, knowledge, tools,
and skills needed in order to be an outstanding teacher.
Two cohorts are scheduled to begin this year. Participants must attend all
sessions from one cohort and complete the final portfolio project in order to
receive credit for the program. Scan the QR code below to read more
