This can be useful for use in instructional activities and materials. QuizStar http://quizstar.4teachers.org/ This website is for teachers to make their own quizzes. A nice, easy, and organized way of using technology to aid in making quizzes!! Casa Notes http://casanotes.4teachers.org/ This website helps teachers design notes using 12 different templates. (Reminders, Permission slips, etc) Rubistar http://rubistar.4teachers.org/index.php This website helps teachers create rubrics. You can even choose what topic you are making the rubric for to get ideas on what to include in the rubric! Brainpop Science movies http://www.brainpop.com/science/seeall/ This website is for science teachers. It provides videos on many different subjects covered in science. Internet for classrooms http://www.internet4classrooms.com/skills_2nd_science_tx.htm This website is a very general lesson plan for teaching basic science. The lesson plan has hyperlinks to websites that relate to each objective. This website gives the teacher great ideas and specific instructions. Each icon on the website gives detailed information about that topic. Science Netlinks http://www.sciencenetlinks.com/ This website has lessons, tools, resources, and goals for teachers who plan to teach science. There are also a lot of free tools that can be accessed as well. PBS Teachers http://www.pbs.org/teachers/ This website has many resources for teachers teaching just about any subject in grades between Pre-K and 12th grade. There are ideas for activities for the classroom and media that can be used to aid in lessons. There is also information about classroom management and information about different subjects. Teachers Net http://teachers.net/ This website gives teachers a look at lesson plans and project. Teachers can also go to chat rooms to talk with other teachers and look up job openings across the country.
