- Nenuphar was founded in 2006 to design, build, and sell vertical axis floating wind turbines. It has over 40 employees based in France. - In 2014, Nenuphar installed the largest onshore vertical axis turbine in the world. Nenuphar’s technology Why floating wind turbines? • Floating wind turbines can be installed far from land, by more than 50m depths, where bottom-fixed offshore wind turbines are not competitive : – It opens new market opportunities – The turbines can be located where the wind is stronger and more regular – Where they will have less impact on landscape and environment

Nenuphar’s technology • Why a Spar floater? – A Spar Floater can easily tilt, which improves the performance of the vertical axis wind turbine – Disconnectable turbine concept allows to do full turbine installation, commissioning and heavy maintenance at quay – A spar floater limits vertical movements due to waves so the turbine can be saved from premature fatigue damages
