1) Students will work in teams to discuss and ask questions about topics they each chose to research.
2) Using laptops, students will research their topics and answer their teammates' questions to gather more information.
3) They will then begin writing paragraphs in their shared Google document about their topics, describing the topics and why they find them fascinating.

• TODAY:
– Investigation Paper
• Teams will discuss and ask questions about our
“fascinating things” (las cosas fascinantes)
• Individual members will use laptops to find answers to
their partners’ questions, and more information.
• Individual members will begin to write their paragraphs
• TOMORROW:
– Investigation Paper
• Individual members will write their two sentences in
Spanish, after a mini-lesson.
• Individual members will add their finished paragraph to
the shared Google document and share it with me.
3. TEAMWORK with one laptop:
• In your shared Google document, have each
team member write his/her fascinating thing.
• In your own words, describe your fascinating
thing to your teammates as best as you can.
• Each team member will respond by asking you
a question about your fascinating thing. Write
the questions down in the Google document.
• Then you will each get your own laptop to find
the answers to your teammates’ questions,
4. Investigation Paper
• You will begin your paragraph in Spanish,
introducing yourself, and telling the reading
what your “cosa fascinante” is.
• In your paragraph, you will describe your
fascinating thing in detail.
• You will tell us how it connects to your
country.
• You will tell us why it fascinates you
personally.
• And you may write any additional information
you want to share.
