This document provides an overview and agenda for a beginner music production class in Ableton Live 10. The class will cover the basic user interface of Ableton Live, including the arrangement and session views. Students will learn how to create MIDI tracks and audio tracks, adjust tempo and quantization, launch clips and scenes, arm and mute tracks, record in the arrangement view, and do tasks creating a short track using only clips and session view. The class will also cover searching, playing instruments with a keyboard, writing MIDI clips, and capturing performed MIDI, with a task to create a track in session view using drum loops, synths, and MIDI clips.
