Let me help you!
The Pyramids – The most famous examples of pyramids are in Egypt. They were used as tombs
(burial places) for pharaohs. It is estimated that it would have taken 20 – 25 000 people
approximately 20 years to build the Great Pyramid in Giza. There are many unanswered questions
about their construction.
Stonehenge – a unique monument in Wiltshire, England. It consists of a circle of very large stones
and was probably built between 3000 and 1500 BC. Theories about who built it have suggested the
Druids, Greeks, and aliens. People think it may have beenbuilt for human sacrifice,as a monument
to King Arthur, or as a tool for astronomy.
