extensive experience within the waste management industry, predominantly within the weighbridge
administration role, which is heavily customer focused. The longevity of the role has allowed me to
increase my knowledge of current legislation and operational business processes. I am confident

to the customer. I am totally committed to health and safety, and my determination to ensure the

• Accountable for the acceptance of all waste through the weighbridge, inspecting to ensure
compliance standards are met and that the site licence is not breached. Constantly the first
point of contact with the customer, delivery excellent customer service and drawing on
conflict resolution techniques where required.
• Extensive knowledge of a majority of operational sites due to the floating nature of the role,
including HWRC’s, IVC’s, MRF’s, TRF’s and MBT-AD’s.
• Responsible for completion of hazardous waste and duty of care transfer notes to comply
with legal obligations.
• Responsible for the practical training of new starters to the weighbridge administrator role,
including a tailored programme of targeted tasks and shadow training.
• Acting as a peer mentor to other members of the team, sharing knowledge and experience
to ensure compliance across all operational sites and minimise the possibility of errors which
lead to investigation of the site permit.
• Major contributor to the delivery of a waste flow project to accurately record and report on
peak traffic flow periods. This resulted in improved vehicle turn around times and ultimately
a better service to the customer.
• Adhering to sampling and testing techniques within the allowed tolerance to safeguard
conformance.
• Responsible for the receipt of money transactions completed through the weighbridge, in
excess of £60k per annum. Ensuring that robust financial management is delivered by being
accountable for the security of these funds and final bank deposit.
• Accountable for production and validation of financial data to reduce accounting
discrepancies, utilising knowledge of Microsoft Office to collect data and analyse results.
• Providing recommendations on resource deployment to prioritise business risks.
• Demonstrating sound knowledge of first aid where required and administering treatment to
operatives on site as required.
• Driving excellent standards and performance in customer service and quality assurance, as
well as challenging unsafe behaviour to contribute toward a zero incident rate.
• Continuously building working relationships with customers, stakeholders and business
representatives to achieve the company objectives.

sociable and have a wide circle of friends, often hosting dinner parties where I relish cooking
new recipes.
• I have a keen interest in retro gaming consoles and enjoy refurbishing faulty or aging
machines. This hobby appeals to my technical ability and I have a passion for understanding
how and why things work.
• I also enjoy breaks away with my partner, discovering new places to relax and sightsee and
learning of the history of the towns and cities we visit.
