The document provides an overview of Romans 14:1-23, which discusses how Christians should treat those with differing understandings regarding matters of indifference. It notes there were tensions in the early church between Jews who still followed certain Old Testament practices and Gentiles who did not. Paul instructs believers to accept one another without disputing over doubtful matters and to pursue unity and peace rather than causing others to stumble in their faith.

The young pastor had a conversation with a woman who wanted to be baptized again. She felt she needed to confess more about her past. They discussed forgiveness in Christ. It then began raining heavily.
The document discusses Paul and Silas entering Thessalonica after being beaten in Philippi. They spoke boldly in the synagogue about how Jesus fulfilled prophecies. Paul's strategy was to attend the synagogue and use the Old Testament to show how the Messiah was prophesied to suffer before receiving glory. There were conflicting images of a conquering king and suffering servant in the prophecies.
The document provides an overview of what constitutes the gospel according to Pastor Charles E. Whisnant. It discusses that the gospel is more than just believing in Jesus, but also includes God redeeming humanity and including people in His kingdom through Jesus' life, death, resurrection, and ascension. It notes four key ingredients that make the gospel effective: it must be preached in word, power, the Holy Spirit, and with assurance. The document examines the characteristics of true saving faith, including production, affection, continuation, transformation, and jubilation. It discusses how the believers in Thessalonica became examples to others and strong witnesses through their exemplary lives and faith in God.
The document discusses several "gospels" outside the canonical four gospels of the New Testament. It provides context for why the four gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John were selected for inclusion in the biblical canon while others like the Gospel of Thomas and Gospel of Peter were rejected. Key reasons given include issues with authorship, contradicting core Christian teachings, being written later than the eyewitness accounts, and promoting Gnostic beliefs.
This is a study of Jesus being crucified all over again. Those who abandon their faith in Jesus are doing just that, and this brings shame on the name of Jesus.

The document discusses how the Bible has been used both to support and oppose slavery, the Copernican theory of astronomy, and views on poverty. It notes that passages from both the Old and New Testaments were cited by proponents of slavery to argue it was sanctioned by God. It also discusses how Christian leaders like Martin Luther and John Calvin rejected Copernicus' findings because they contradicted literal interpretations of certain Bible passages. The document questions whether the Bible should be seen as a rule book or library open to different interpretations, and suggests seeing it through the lens of Jesus' life and teachings rather than taking every passage literally.

The Structure of the Book of RevelationCharles Dube
This document outlines the complex structure of the Book of Revelation. It discusses how Revelation is structured through literary devices like chiasmus, where sections are arranged in concentric, inverted patterns around a central point rather than linearly. It divides Revelation into four main sections of seven events or visions each: the seven churches, seven seals, seven trumpets, and seven bowls. It also notes other structures like the two cities of Babylon and the New Jerusalem introduced by angels, and seven final visions introduced by John saying "I saw." Understanding Revelation's intricate structural patterns is key to correctly interpreting its meaning and prophecy.
1. The document discusses lessons from the Exodus story about true worship of God. It highlights how the Israelites came to know God through their deliverance from Egypt and were called not to worship other gods.
2. Key events like the burning bush and first Passover revealed God's holiness, salvation, and the need for worship centered on Him rather than ourselves.
3. The Israelites' worship of a golden calf after Moses went to meet with God demonstrated how easily worship can turn false without knowing God.
4. Moses asked to see God's glory to better understand Him after the apostasy of the golden calf and gain a closer relationship with the only true God.
This is a study of Jesus working through Paul. Paul gloried in Jesus for it was Jesus working through him that brought about so many wonderful things like bringing salvation to the Gentiles.

Book of Daniel, Gospels, Epistle to Thessalonian church and the Book of Revelation give details of an unholy alliance of wicked forces in spiritual realm and on earth. There have been 7 empires described in the Bible impacting God's people in one way or another. Behind each of these 7 empires were evil spirits of power controlling them for specific purpose. These spirits are at work even today working against God and His people, to bring in the unholy trinity of Satan, Antichrist and False Prophet into ultimate dominion on earth, very soon. Mysteriously United Nations, European Union, Statesmen of repute in world governments, financial institutions etc are controlled by highly secretive Illuminati and its tentacles like Freemasons, Club of Rome, New Age and so on. These are highly secretive in their strategy and manoeuvres but God's people can discern and identify them and keep themselves at a safe distance. This presentation helps identify these evil forces and their strategies. May this be an eye opener for the Church in spiritual warfare! Credit for this message goes to excellent in depth Bible study conducted over 7 days by TPM Church, Tamil Nadu, India from which this presentation has been put together.
1. We are engaged in a spiritual battle against powerful evil forces that require God's armor for protection.
2. God has given us spiritual armor and weapons that we must each individually appropriate in order to successfully fight this war, including truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation and the word of God.
3. Prayer is essential as it keeps us in communion with God and strengthens us and our fellow Christians for the battle.
In this paper I examine the evangelical task of proclaiming the Christian kerygma in the modern world. First, I contextualize proclamation within the overall task of witnessing to the Gospel. Next, I show how the early Christian kerygma was shaped by the apostles according to their particular audience. Following this, I look broadly at the modern American audience and suggest some important points of emphasis and de-emphasis in our shaping of kerygma for them. Finally, I suggest a method for sharing the Good News that begins to integrate the results of this discussion.

It states that in latter times, some will depart from the faith by paying attention to deceiving spirits and demonic doctrines. They will speak lies hypocritically and have their consciences seared. Specifically, some will depart from the faith in their doctrine by binding or loosing what God has not, or speaking hypocritically. Others will depart in their conscience as it becomes seared and unable to be influenced. Still others will depart in their lifestyle by forbidding marriage or certain foods. This document provides context and analysis of the biblical passage from John 4:1-26 where Jesus meets a Samaritan woman at a well. It notes that Jesus extended salvation to those despised by religious communities. The summary is:
1) Jesus traveled through Samaria and met a Samaritan woman at a well, breaking social norms by speaking to her.
2) Jesus revealed to the woman that he knew details about her life, surprising her.
3) The woman realized Jesus may be the Messiah, and she told others in her community about him, leading many to believe.
Some early Jewish Christians believed they received salvation through their own righteousness or obedience to Mosaic law, rather than by grace through faith. The passage discusses how Abraham was saved by faith alone, not works, and that Christians today are likewise saved through grace by obedient faith in Christ, hearing the gospel, repenting of sins, confessing faith, and being baptized. Salvation is a free gift of God's grace, not something earned through works.

This document provides tips for avoiding gossip and discusses the negative effects of gossiping. It notes that gossipers will gossip about you just as they gossip to you. It advises being mindful of "forked tongues" and avoiding inquisitive people who enjoy spreading private rumors but won't keep confidential information private. As an example, it describes a group of five friends who spend 15 minutes gossiping each night before bed, despite knowing it will cause them to lose sleep. The document concludes by advising only criticizing friends if it causes genuine pain, and to hold your tongue if there is any pleasure in gossiping.
1) Relationship is key according to Romans 12. We should dedicate our body, mind, and will to serving God, and have the right perspectives of ourselves, the church community, and our spiritual gifts.
2) We must have sincere love for others, bless our enemies, and not seek revenge. Our goal should be to get along with everyone.
3) The book of Romans discusses the doctrines of condemnation for sin, justification through faith in Christ, and assurance of salvation. It emphasizes moving from doctrine to duty by dedicating ourselves to serving God and building relationships with others.

The student had an easy time in their woodworking lesson. They used familiar tools like tenon saws and pull saws, and were introduced to a new tool, the coping saw, which is useful for cutting inside curved surfaces. The student completed their cuts successfully, with only minor issues of accidentally cutting their finger and a small piece of wood chipping off. They received helpful answers when asking questions of their teacher and classmates.
Henry Hobson Richardson was an American architect born in 1838 in Louisiana. He studied in New Orleans and Paris and is considered the first American architect for breaking from European traditions. He developed the Richardsonian Romanesque style characterized by stone walls, arched windows, and dynamic interior spaces. His most famous work was Trinity Church in Boston constructed from 1872-1877, which featured a clay roof, rough stone, heavy arches, and a massive tower. Geometry played an important role in the symmetrical and Victorian design of the church, ensuring its structural integrity and longevity.

A brief outline of a Rationalist vs Christian perspective on human natureC
Rationalism is a philosophical view that regards reason as the primary source of knowledge. Rationalists use logic and deduction to understand situations and determine what is right or wrong. In the 17th century, rationalism emerged with philosophers like Descartes who believed that everything could be explained through reason and logic alone, even going so far as to question the reliability of the senses. Descartes introduced formulas to understand life and argued that the senses can deceive us, using the example of how we perceive the size of the sun.

The Gospel Demands A Godly Attitude- Chapter 12Don McClain
The document provides an overview of Romans 12:1-15:13, which discusses practical Christian living based on the gospel. It first reviews the key points about the gospel made in Romans 1-11. Romans 12 then instructs Christians to dedicate their bodies as living sacrifices to God, renew their minds, be humble and use their spiritual gifts to serve others. It also teaches Christians to love genuinely, pursue good works, bless persecutors, rejoice with others and live peaceably. The goal is to overcome evil with good.
Gods Righteousness Through Faith For Both Jew and GentileDon McClain
The Jews who rejected Christ were rejected by God. It is ONLY through faith in the name of Christ that any man can be right with God - The gospel has been preached - it must be heard - it must be believed - and it must be obeyed! Salvation through Christ was indeed God's purpose all along!
The document provides background on Paul's letter to the Romans. It discusses Paul's journey and reasons for writing the letter, which was to teach believers in Rome about God's righteousness. The key theme of Romans is outlined as the righteousness of God explained in chapters 1-11 and applied practically in chapters 12-16. Paul states that he is not ashamed of the gospel, which is explained as God's good message and power that brings salvation to all who believe in Jesus Christ, both Jew and Gentile.
The document describes the hopeless condition of a person under the Law who is outside of Christ. It summarizes that the person knows the Law is good but finds themselves continually sinning and unable to stop. They recognize their guilt but have no way to escape or be delivered from their sinful nature. The person cries out "O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?" showing they cannot save themselves and need God to provide deliverance through Christ.
This document discusses victory in Christ through our righteousness being found in Him. It defines the gospel as the power of God and explains that we experience this power through faith. True faith is faith in Jesus Christ, which provides victory over sin. The secret is abiding in Christ so His divine nature lives in us. When divinity and humanity are combined through faith, we can overcome temptation as Christ did. True obedience comes from love, not fear. With Christ's help, we can control our will and bring our entire being into subjection to Him. Full conformity to God's will and perfect reproduction of Christ's character in our lives will be achieved by God's grace at the close of probation.
This document discusses victory in Christ through His righteousness. It explains that Christ overcame sin through the union of His divinity and humanity. Christians can overcome sin by having living faith in Christ through the Holy Spirit, choosing obedience through love rather than fear. When Christians surrender fully to Christ, allowing His character to be perfectly reproduced in them, then Christ will return to take them to heaven.
This document discusses the Greek words "trial/tempt" and "evil desires" found in James 1:13-14. It provides background information on the meanings and translations of these terms from various biblical sources. The Greek word "peirazo" can mean either "trial" or "temptation" depending on the context. "Evil desires" is a single Greek word that generally refers to forbidden longings. The document seeks to clarify the meanings of these terms as used in the passage from James through comparisons to other biblical texts and translations.
ZVIRINANI (translated - It Is Better) Notes.pdfTheScribe4
The sermon discusses delivering an unrepentant believer to Satan for the destruction of the flesh based on 1 Corinthians 5:1-5. It notes that while the spirit will be saved, the flesh is set for destruction and cannot inherit heaven. If the flesh causes one to sin and lose their salvation, God may destroy the flesh while one is alive so they can still be saved. The devil works to control the flesh and sin, and in some cases God uses the devil to punish unbelieving believers by incapacitating their flesh.
This document provides encouragement to go forward in faith against evil, with zeal, in gratitude, to influence others, and to realize God's promises. Key points include:
1) We must go forward in faith, as without faith it is impossible to please God.
2) Go forward against evil by applying God's grace and living righteous lives through Christ.
3) Go forward with zeal, serving the Lord enthusiastically as new creations in Christ.
4) Go forward in gratitude, remembering to thank God for his goodness even in tough times.
5) Go forward to influence others through encouraging acts like Paul did while in bonds.
1) The phrase "from faith to faith" in Romans 1:17 is obscure but refers to the correlation between God's righteousness and man's need to live by faith.
2) The gospel reveals God's righteousness through his power displayed in creation, judgments, and salvation through Jesus, who paid the penalty for sin on the cross.
3) We are saved not by our own works but because of God's righteousness and power, which causes us to have faith in Christ and live transformed lives to his glory.
The document discusses Paul's letter to the Colossians. It provides an outline of the letter including that Paul discusses Christ's sufficiency in chapters 1-2 and the worthy walk with Christ in chapters 3-4. The document then analyzes several passages in more depth. These include discussing being reconciled to God through Christ and now living with purpose, as well as the possibility of being presented before God experientially, positionally, or eschatologically. The conclusion is that believers will all be presented before God at the bema judgment, so they should live obediently as their reward awaits them.
Lesson 36 gospel doctrine new testament beloved of godKelly Olsen
This document provides a summary of key passages from the book of Romans. It discusses several important doctrinal topics including:
1. Justification through grace rather than works of the law, which comes through faith in Jesus Christ and his Atonement.
2. The ability to be "reborn" through baptism and become "joint heirs with Christ" through following the Spirit.
3. The duty of believers to "live as becomes Saints" by offering themselves as living sacrifices to God and serving one another in love.
The summary explores these doctrines through analyzing several verses from Romans and relating them to other scriptures. It aims to help readers better understand Paul's teachings on salvation, the

1) A living sacrifice refers to offering one's body to God, as described by Paul in Romans 12:1, rather than animal sacrifices under the Old Covenant.
2) Under the new covenant established by Jesus's sacrifice, believers are called to completely yield themselves to God's control as instruments of righteousness.
3) To be a living sacrifice in practice means not being conformed to the ways of the world by renewing one's mind through regularly hearing, reading, studying, meditating on, and memorizing God's word as revealed in the Bible.
This document provides an overview and analysis of the New Testament book of Hebrews. It discusses key themes in Hebrews such as Christ being the center, the real rest that believers have in him, Christ as the true high priest, and maturity that comes from being in Christ rather than deeds. It contrasts the real truths presented in Hebrews with the false practices the Jews were engaging in. The document examines major sections of Hebrews in detail and provides discussion questions at the end to help readers apply the lessons from Hebrews to their lives.

2. It examines the identity and work of Jesus Christ as the mediator between God and humanity, exploring how he is fully God and fully man.
3. It summarizes that through his death on the cross, Christ accomplished our forgiveness, deliverance, freedom, and righteousness by his atoning death as our substitute and through his expiation, propitiation, redemption, and reconciliation.

Doctrine is of paramount importance. Sound doctrine delivers us whereas unsound doctrine destroys. Join us as we look at the importance of sound doctrine as it relates specifically to the Reformation and the Church of Rome.
A new Christian may wonder how long salvation lasts and if anything can cause it to be lost. Paul answers this in Ephesians 1:13-18, explaining that salvation is eternal and cannot be lost once received. He wanted believers to understand the secure nature of this salvation. Romans 5:1-2 further clarifies that through faith in Christ, believers have peace with God and access to His grace forever.

“The Kind of Preaching That Pleases God”Don McClain
This document examines what constitutes successful preaching according to God rather than popular measures. It profiles several preachers in the Bible like Noah, Jeremiah, John the Baptist, Jesus, Paul, Peter and Stephen. All faced opposition but faithfully proclaimed God's message of repentance, judgment for sin, and salvation through obedience. True preaching pleases God by upholding sound doctrine instead of popular fables and applies scriptural teachings to modern issues while opposing false teachings.
“The Nature of Saving FAITH” (2)— (Romans 3:19-5:5) In Romans 4 Paul is contrasting two opposing SYSTEMS, “FAITH & WORKS.” The “works” system cannot save a sinner because it demands perfection - and no amount of work can undo the sinners sin. The “Faith” system on the other hand implements forgiveness through Jesus thus providing justification on the grounds of God’s grace. Astronism, Cosmism and Cosmodeism: the space religions espousing the doctrine...Cometan
This lecture created by Brandon Taylorian (aka Cometan) specially for the CESNUR Conference held Bordeaux in June 2024 provides a brief introduction to the legacy of religious and philosophical thought that Astronism emerges from, namely the discourse on transcension started assuredly by the Cosmists in Russia in the mid-to-late nineteenth century and then carried on and developed by Mordecai Nessyahu in Cosmodeism in the twentieth century. Cometan also then provides some detail on his story in founding Astronism in the early twenty-first century from 2013 along with details on the central Astronist doctrine of transcension. Finally, the lecture concludes with some contributions made by space religions and space philosophy and their influences on various cultural facets in art, literature and film.
Lucid Dreaming: Understanding the Risks and Benefits
The ability to control one's dreams or for the dreamer to be aware that he or she is dreaming. This process, called lucid dreaming, has some potential risks as well as many fascinating benefits. However, many people are hesitant to try it initially for fear of the potential dangers. This article aims to clarify these concerns by exploring both the risks and benefits of lucid dreaming.
The Benefits of Lucid Dreaming
Lucid dreaming allows a person to take control of their dream world, helping them overcome their fears and eliminate nightmares. This technique is particularly useful for mental health. By taking control of their dreams, individuals can face challenging scenarios in a controlled environment, which can help reduce anxiety and increase self-confidence.
Addressing Common Concerns
Physical Harm in Dreams Lucid dreaming is fundamentally safe. In a lucid dream, everything is a creation of your mind. Therefore, nothing in the dream can physically harm you. Despite the vividness and realness of the dream experience, it remains entirely within your mental landscape, posing no physical danger.
Mental Health Risks Concerns about developing PTSD or other mental illnesses from lucid dreaming are unfounded. As soon as you wake up, it's clear that the events experienced in the dream were not real. On the contrary, lucid dreaming is often seen as a therapeutic tool for conditions like PTSD, as it allows individuals to reframe and manage their thoughts.
Potential Risks of Lucid Dreaming
While generally safe, lucid dreaming does come with a few risks as well:
Mixing Dream Memories with Reality Long-term lucid dreamers might occasionally confuse dream memories with real ones, creating false memories. This issue is rare and preventable by maintaining a dream journal and avoiding lucid dreaming about real-life people or places too frequently.
Escapism Using lucid dreaming to escape reality can be problematic if it interferes with your daily life. While it is sometimes beneficial to escape and relieve the stress of reality, relying on lucid dreaming for happiness can hinder personal growth and productivity.
Feeling Tired After Lucid Dreaming Some people report feeling tired after lucid dreaming. This tiredness is not due to the dreams themselves but often results from not getting enough sleep or using techniques that disrupt sleep patterns. Taking breaks and ensuring adequate sleep can prevent this.
Mental Exhaustion Lucid dreaming can be mentally taxing if practiced excessively without breaks. It’s important to balance lucid dreaming with regular sleep to avoid mental fatigue.
Lucid dreaming is safe and beneficial if done with caution. It has many benefits, such as overcoming fear and improving mental health, and minimal risks. There are many resources and tutorials available for those interested in trying it.

our mind that a thing is a matter of faith,
and this certainty must be the result of an
objective and diligent study of God’s word.
