Cake Sale & Coffee Morning
Sincere thanks to all who supported our cake sale and coffee morning last weekend.
The total raised was €540. Olivia Moran would like to thank all who helped with the
weekend.
NEW Tobernalt Christmas Cards – Final Call
NEW Holy Well Christmas Cards are now available. Samples are available
to see on the notice board of the Church, on the Bookstand and they can
also be seen on our parish websites (see front page). These colourful cards, which
contain Christmas reflections, are available in two different types and depict
scenes from the Holy Well. 10 cards for only €7. Call into the sacristy after
Mass or contact the Parish Office. Please support your Holy Well.

2. Please Return Your Tax Forms for 2012
Please return your tax reclaim form. It can be posted to
Fr Jim Murray, St John’s Presbytery, Carraroe, Sligo or simply placed in an
envelope marked ‘Fr Jim Murray’ and returned via the Sunday collection. Forms are
available in the sacristy after Mass.

Christmas Nativity Drama – Holy Well Sligo
A Sligo-based drama group, “For Your Soul Productions”, is planning a Christmas
Nativity Drama entitled, “Gift of God”. It will take place outdoors at Sligo’s beloved
Holy Well, Carraroe on Sunday December 22 nd at 5pm. The drama will be a
narration of Christ’s birth accompanied by music and song. There will be a mulled
wine and mince pie reception to follow. Donations welcome on the night.
The shrine to Our Lady and Bernadette reminds us of the many
apparitions that have taken place around the world. Each time Our lady reminds us to
turn back to God and recognise the power of Jesus at work in our lives. As we visit the
Holy Well, spend time in silent prayer and light a candle, let us allow Jesus to enter
our lives in a powerful way.
Advent – A Time of Prayer
Thank you to all who attended our time of reflection and prayer for advent
last Wednesday.
Angelus
Copies of the Angelus are available at the Bookstand. The Angelus is our parish and
diocesan newspaper. If you would like a yearly subscription, please call into the
sacristy after Mass.
Christmas Fair at Castle Dargan Hotel
Christmas Fair at Castle Dargan Hotel on Sunday 15th December 2013
beginning at 12 noon. Attractions include a Live Animal Nativity Scene.
Also, Santa will make a special visit, Christmas Carols will be sung, and there will be a
Christmas Market. All proceeds in aid of St Vincent de Paul Christmas Appeal, and
the Philippines Emergency Appeal. Donations gratefully accepted. Contact Christy

Bereaved
Please remember in your prayers the soul of Martin Davey, Oxford, England and
Carraroe whose funeral took place on Thursday.

Venue : Adelaide Bar, Wine Street Car park. Date and Time: Saturday 21st
December, 8.00pm. Teams of 4, €40 per team.
