Samuel Clemens High School students had success at a regional competition. Emily Weatherington took first place for her storybook and Karyn Swink took second place. Melissa Young advanced to the state competition. Updates were made to the college bulletin and students are reminded to have parking passes. Various clubs such as Key Club, HOSA, BPA, and French Club announced upcoming meetings. Community service opportunities and scholarships were also announced.

2. Samuel Clemens Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) did an
amazing job at our Regional competition Thursday, Dec. 8th at UTSA.
Emily Weatherington took 1st place on her count on Character story
book and Karyn Swink took 2nd place for her story book.
Melissa Young also advanced to state for scoring a 92 on her Education
Leadership Fundamentals (ELF) Test
Clemens was the only school from our region to advance to state for
their storybooks. Way to go Ladies.
