A. My biggest passion in ministry is to see people willing to open up and be honest
with the struggles and pain in their lives. I found that comedy was a fun and subtle
way to accomplish that. Also, I’ve just always loved to make people laugh.
Q. What makes you different from other “clean” comedians?
A. It’s true that, like other comedians who convey themselves as “clean,” I don’t swear
in my routines or rely on base humor to get laughs. But, my ministry doesn’t stop
there. My focus is to approach the awkward and embarrassing situations we all
encounter in life with openness and honesty. A lot of times, when young people
encounter a situation where they feel unintelligent or awkward, their inclination is to
alienate themselves and believe that they’re the only ones who feel that way. My
candid approach to comedy obliterates that perception, helping kids realize they’re
not alone. That’s what makes my comedy special and relatable.
Q. How can media and other interested parties get more information about you?
A. To see some of my stand-up performances, visit my YouTube channel. You can also
find me on Facebook and Twitter. My website has additional information about my
work and tour dates. If you still have more questions, would like an interview, or
would like to discuss booking, e-mail contact@taylorjohnsononline.com or call
