The Copenhagen Centre on Energy Efficiency serves as the Energy Efficiency Hub of Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) and hosts the Secretariat for the Global Energy Efficiency Accelerator Platform. The Hub aims to double the global rate of energy efficiency improvement by 2030 by assisting countries with policy changes, accelerating innovation, and engaging the private sector. The Accelerator Platform is a key partnership mechanism that shares information between governments and the private sector to track progress, showcase results, and bridge the gap to energy efficiency finance in sectors like buildings, industry, and transport.

2. The Copenhagen Centre on Energy Efficiency serves as the Energy Efficiency
Hub of SEforALL with prime responsibility to support the objective of doubling
the global rate of energy efficiency improvement by 2030.
The Copenhagen Centre on Energy Efficiency helps to coordinate and facilitate
the implementation of SEforALL energy efficiency activities globally, in close
collaboration with SEforALL, by:
• Assisting policy change in countries and cities with knowledge, insights and technical
support;
• Accelerating energy efficiency through innovation in delivery models, public-private
partnership formation and project development; and
• Raising the profile of energy efficiency by communicating success, supporting
outreach and engaging the private sector.
The Copenhagen Centre on Energy Efficiency also hosts the Secretariat for the
Global Energy Efficiency Accelerator Platform of SEforAll.
