This tour gives you online access to the Pearson Inform software.
About Pearson Inform
Pearson Inform is a powerful, achievement data analysis and decision support tool that
provides your district and school educators with the information needed to measure
progress and improve district and school performance. This easy-to-use tool helps you to
analyze student, class, school, and district performance based on multiple assessments and
other performance indicators.
Use Pearson Inform to:
 Measure progress against local, state, and federal standards
 Promote collaborative decisions that impact teaching
 Target assistance for students, teachers, and schools
About the Pearson Inform Self-Guided Tour
The Pearson Inform Self-Guided Tour gives you a fully populated database with student
performance data and comparison reports. While taking the tour, you can perform tasks
that you would normally perform in your student achievement analysis solution. You can:
 Log on as a user (district administrator, principal, teacher) for different views into
district, school, and student data.
 Evaluate individual student and class performance profiles that are measured against
district, state, or federal standards.
 Manage district- and school-based intervention programs.
 View and print a wide variety of school, class, and student comparison and
performance analysis reports.
Accessing the Inform Sandbox
To access the tour, click the link and type the passwords and login names provided on the
next page.
User Names and Passwords
The user names and passwords give you access based on user type. For example, you can
access as a District Administrator, Principal or Teacher. The role determines the default
login view, which can be customized by either the district or in a limited capacity by the
user.
 The District Administrator role allows you to navigate all views: district, school,
classroom, and individual student.
 The Teacher and Principal roles provide views that are typical to these job functions.

District Administrator: You will be playing the role of a District Admin using an admin
login. In your internet browser (Internet Explorer, Safari or Firefox), navigate to the

When you arrive at the login screen, you will see two entry boxes. Enter the credentials in
the following way: Username: disadmin Password: Inform@dist
School Administrator: You will be playing the role of Tinsdell, Charles using an admin
login. In your internet browser (Internet Explorer, Safari or Firefox), navigate to the
following URL: https://www.pearsoninform.com/login/demo-eaplay
When you arrive at the login screen, you will see two entry boxes. Enter the credentials in
the following way: Username: principal19 Password: Foreign1
Teacher: You will be playing the role of Majeed, Carrol using a teacher login. In your
internet browser (Internet Explorer, Safari or Firefox), navigate to the following URL:

When you arrive at the login screen, you will see two entry boxes. Enter the credentials in
the following way: Username: teacher19 Password: Foreign1
PowerSchool Support Site: PowerSource is a community-focused customer support portal
for all Pearson School Systems products. PowerSource is available to all district and school
staff, including teachers, administrators and IT staff.

PowerSource login. In your internet browser (Internet Explorer, Safari or Firefox), navigate
to the following URL: https://powersource.pearsonschoolsystems.com/login.action
When you arrive at the login screen, you will see a login area with, two entry boxes for your
credentials. Enter your information in the following way:
Email Address: presales@powerschool.com
Password: pears0n
Note: Certain features of PowerSource are not active until you are a Pearson Inform
customer.
