1) The document discusses different types of dominant line usage in garment design, including vertical, horizontal, and diagonal lines.
2) Vertical lines create the illusion of increased length and height and communicate qualities like alertness and strength. Horizontal lines emphasize width over length and communicate rest and calmness.
3) Diagonal lines draw attention up and down or side to side depending on their angle, and can increase the appearance of height. They psychologically represent motion, action, and excitement.
Dr. Rashmi Sharma is a self-employed homeopathy practitioner and founder of an academy who enjoys an active lifestyle that includes yoga, cardio, household chores, and attending/conducting workshops. She prefers fitted tops and flared bottoms in yellow and brown. The document analyzes various items of clothing in her wardrobe and classifies them as needs or wants. It finds that comfortable, easy to care for basics like grey tops and black pants meet physical and psychological needs, while accessories like necklaces are wants that enhance outfits for social occasions. Outfits are chosen based on factors like affordability, appropriateness for activities and occasions, and reflecting her authoritative yet approachable personality.

1. Appropriate Dress
for the Occasion
(Gradable 1-11)
Presented by: Rajani More
Batch Code: IM07/WKD/E/29/07/21
2. Going to the Mall
Slip-ons (shoes), something loose and comfortable,
no jewelry and simple Clothing.
Simple casual white shirt with a shrug on top
and denims at the bottom accompanied by slip-
ons.
Which in my opinion is a very comfortable
outfit wear for going to the mall.
These are the clothes from my closet, a
quartered navy blue sleeved top and a black
denim. Very comfortable and loose fitting at the
same time.
3. Amusement Park
If going to an amusement park, Jean Shorts, when the
weather is really warm.
Not only will jean shorts keep cool and comfortable
throughout the day, but also they can look super cute if
paired with the right items.
This outfit, which includes a pair of jean shorts with a Sky
Blue top and a quarter sleeved shrug to match.
For shoes, white sneakers and white ankle socks (comfy
for walking all day at the amusement park).
Similar outfit from my Closet.
4. A Wedding
Lehenga and full sleeved blouse with or without
Dupatta is a look in my opinion which is one of
the appropriate outfit for any Indian wedding,
definitely options are huge.
If it’s a summer wedding then wearing something
heavy and synthetic will make matters extremely
uncomfortable. And at the same time if its winter
time then wearing something too light is not
recommended. If not wearing the right cloths then
one won’t be able to enjoy the company of people
or the food nor will look good.
I don’t like to attend weddings and not very comfortable in this type of outfits
hence, I have nothing anything similar or any other alternative to wear for
this occasion. But I would like to add in the upcoming days.
5. Picnic
Whether with family or a group of friends, a day in the park
will most likely result in playing outdoor games, such as
cricket or Frisbee, and showing a competitive side. If this is
the case, comfort is certainly the key. Pair of
comfortable chinos with a long quarter sleeved shirt or striped
t shirt. This classic and simple summer look is perfect for a
group picnic in the outdoors. Soft, versatile, casual and easy to
wear outfit.
Similar outfit from my Closet.
6. Hiking/Biking
During Hiking pants over shorts. If the trail exploring has
any overgrown bushes or grassy patches, low branches,
protruding rocks or other obstacles, as almost all trails do,
shorts leave legs vulnerable to scratches, cuts, bruises,
Poison Ivy, ticks and other dangers. This outfit, which
includes a pair of jeans with a White top. For shoes, true
hiking boots with extra ankle support accompanied with all
necessary goodies required for hiking.
Similar outfit from my Closet.
7. 4-Star Restaurant
4-Star Restaurants apply the polished-
yet-comfortable look, dressing
professionally, looking relaxed yet neat
and pulled together, easeful, apart of the
tip-top dining atmosphere.

top and a jacket.
Black & white quarter sleeveless dress,
conveying a professional look.

8. Religious Service
I don’t like to attend Religious Service and not very comfortable in this type
of outfits hence, I have nothing anything similar or any other alternative to
wear for this occasion. But I would like to add in the upcoming days.
Religious Services in Hindu calls for
ethnic and traditional wear always. In my
opinion, An anarkali suit of light and
bright colors such as red, orange, yellow
etc.(religious services often demands
these colors generally.)
I would prefer to wear the outfit on the
left one, a white long elemental Kurta and
bottoms.
9. A Rock Concert
Loose-fitting T-shirts and jeans for optimal comfort, and a
jumper or cardigan to layer. Also with a denim jacket, as
they're versatile and light.
Similar outfit from my Closet.
10. A Job Interview
Formal Kurta with Leggings
from my closet.
Formal wear, with or without a blazer, formal pants
and a full sleeved collared shirt, formal shoes in
western wear.
Formal Indian wear, formal kurta with a Leggings.
11. Office Presentation
Similar outfit from my Closet.
Dressing for a Office Presentation demands neat dresses,
skirts or slacks. Outfit tops include tidy button-down
shirts or blouses with a blazer. Appropriate shoes for a
business professional dress code are classic heels not
much higher, loafers or tidy flats.
