  Encourage	
  respect,	
  even	
  when

  disagreements.

  Disrespectful

  managers	
  commit	
  to	
  schedules	
  without	
  getting	
  input	
  from	
  the	
  people	
  who	
  will	
  
do	
  the	
  work.	
  These	
  shortcuts	
  almost	
  always	
  backfire	
  with	
  time.	
  Engage	
  the	
  individuals	
  who	
  
will	
  be	
  impacted.
