Paul instructs Timothy on how Christians should treat different groups within the church. Elders should be treated with respect and honor. Accusations against elders require two or three witnesses. Elders who sin should be rebuked publicly so that others may fear God. Younger men and women should be treated as brothers and sisters with purity, while widows should be honored and supported if they meet certain requirements.
