2. There Can Be Only One
God’s Plan Never Fails:
Tit 1:2 NKJV in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot
lie, promised before time began,
Heb 6:18-19 NKJV that by two immutable things, in which it
is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation,
who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.
(19) This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure
and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil,

Why Does Man Think that he can improve God’s Plan:
Abraham, Moses, the Judaizers, etc.
Gal 4:4 NKJV But when the fullness of the time had come,
God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,
There can be only ONE!!!

4. Gal 1:1-10 NKJV Paul, an apostle (not from men nor
through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father
who raised Him from the dead), (2) and all the brethren who
are with me, To the churches of Galatia: (3) Grace to you
and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ,
(4) who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us
from this present evil age, according to the will of our God
and Father, (5) to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
(6) I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him
who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel,

any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you,

now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For
if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.

There is not another Gospel, no not at all
Gal 1:6-7 NKJV I marvel that you are turning away so soon
from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different
gospel, (7) which is not another; but there are some who
trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ.
Different (another KJV) – heteron meaning another of a
different kind.
Another – allo meaning another of the same kind.
In verse 7 two words are untranslated after another (allo),
which is ei mā which means “no not at all.” There is not
another gospel no not at all.

Act 4:12 NKJV Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is
no other name under heaven given among men by which we
must be saved."
Only 1 Gospel has the Power of God; Romans 1:16

trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ.
Some trouble you – lit. agitate; they stir the pot.
They “want to pervert the gospel” – turn around or twist.

you, let him be accursed. (9) As we have said before, so now

Even if an apostle or an angel is to be accursed for preaching a
different gospel.
Anathema – delivered to the wrath of God; Hebrews 10:31.

do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not
be a bondservant of Christ. (11) But I make known to you,
brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not
according to man. (12) For I neither received it from man,
nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus
Christ.
Do we OBEY God or men?; Persuade – peitho means an
obedience due to persuasion.

Rom 6:16 NKJV Do you not know that to whom you present
yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one's slaves whom you
obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading
to righteousness?
Are we men-pleasers – to do so removes us from being slaves
of Christ – it becomes a sin leading to death.
Gal 1:10 NKJV For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I
seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a
bondservant of Christ.

Gal 1:11-12 NKJV But I make known to you, brethren, that
the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man.
(12) For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it,
but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Where does our teaching come from?
Jesus was once asked, “By what authority are You doing these
things?”
Matthew 28:18-20; Paul’s apostolic authority and gospel
came from none other than Jesus.
