TEAM 16: GUF API
The team created the GUF API to simplify use of the Geospatial User Feedback integration. They added another level to the API to integrate Geospatial User Feedback into the ENEON graph of in-situ networks of Earth observation. Results include links to the updated ENEON graph and code repositories. The GUF API allows feedback on networks to complement and correct information. It has been included in other portals for cross-sectoral interoperability. The graph connects Earth observation data to indicators of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Future work includes documentation, completion of the API, and inclusion in additional projects.

This document discusses Network Rail's use of GIS systems to evaluate and manage their earthworks assets without needing physical inspections. Pseudoranges from your Android smartphone
The latest version of Android, Nougat (v7.x), was released in late 2016, and offers access to raw GNSS measurements. Google demonstrated functionality to obtain Pseudoranges, Dopplers and Carrier Phase from a phone or tablet last September at the Institute of Navigation’s conference.
This seminar will explain the current API, hardware limitations and possible future advantages of this exciting new development. We will discuss data collection, raw measurements and demo processing example in Matlab and Python.

The project “PyArchInit- python for archaeology” began in 2005 with the aim of developing a phyton’s plug-in for the open source software Qgis. PyArchinit comes mainly from the needs, ever more present in the archaeology community, to computerize the archaeological records using software, which handle alphanumeric, multimedia and topographical data in a single solution. This package aims to meet the requirements with a unique solution that guarantees over time stability, development, easy installation and update. The final goal is the creation of GIS platform with a high interoperability between different operating system, in which alphanumerical table, GIS geometries and multimedia data are within a single system. This allows to keep as much as possible the integrity of the raw data, providing to the archaeologist both a very fast and robust approach and, in meantime, it is an open system to changes and customizations by other developers.

SKA Systems Engineering: from PDR to Construction
In a project of the complexity of the SKA, it is very important to be very observant of the different requirements for the SKA telescopes, and how they are implemented by the different sub-systems. And because the design of the SKA is evolving, the need to assess the impact of design changes, and potential trade-offs, is more relevant than ever. In this talk I will present how the SKA Organisation is leading the Systems Engineering work of the different consortia, and how we are using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to integrate the design inputs from the sub-systems, and be able to keep a Systems view that ensures that the element designs are sound, and really comply with the stringent requirements posed by the SKA.
WebRTC Webinar & Q&A - W3C WebRTC JS API Test Platform & Updates from W3C Lis...
On September 19-23 there was the W3C TPAC meeting in Lisbon. Dan will cover some of the highlights of the recent Lisbon WebRTC meeting, including what items are the sticking points, where work is focusing, progress estimates, and thoughts on what might go into the next version of WebRTC after 1.0 is finished.
Alex will cover the W3C testing platform: "Test The Web Forward". W3C, unlike IETF, is developing and maintaining a complete test suite for all its JS APIs. No specification is actually accepted by W3C and final without the corresponding test suite. Topics that will be addressed include what this testing platform implements, its status with respect to WebRTC and now it is used by different browser vendors as an indication of their compliance with the standards.
