A transformer transfers electrical energy from one circuit to another by changing the voltage and current levels using electromagnetic induction. It has two windings, a primary and secondary, wrapped around an iron core. When an alternating current is passed through the primary winding, it creates an alternating magnetic flux that induces an electromotive force in the secondary winding. The ratio of the number of turns in the primary and secondary determines whether the voltage is stepped up or down. Transformers are used to transmit power over long distances by increasing the voltage to reduce transmission losses before stepping it back down for distribution.
Equivalent circuit diagram of a transformer is basically a diagram which can be resolved into an equivalent circuit in which the resistance and leakage reactance of the transformer are imagined to be external to the winding. Where, R1 = Primary Winding Resistance. R2= Secondary winding Resistance.

A transistor can be used as a current source by biasing the emitter current through a resistor. Any change in the collector voltage will have little effect on the collector/load current as long as the transistor remains active and not saturated. In a common-emitter amplifier, a small signal at the base causes a corresponding change in the emitter current. This then causes an amplified change in the opposite direction at the collector through the collector resistor load, providing voltage gain.

This document discusses electromagnetic induction and Faraday's law of induction. It begins by defining magnetic flux and provides the mathematical expression for it. It then introduces Faraday's law, which states that the induced electromotive force (emf) in a circuit is equal to the negative rate of change of magnetic flux through the circuit. WORKING PRINCIPLE OF DC GENERATOR
A generator is a device that convert Mechanical energy into electrical energy using electromagnetic induction.
A DC generator produces direct power based on fundamental principle of Faraday's laws of electromagnetic induction.
According to this laws, Whenever a conductor is moved within a magnetic field in such a way that the conductor cuts across magnetic lines of flux, voltage is generated in the conductor.
FLEMING’S RIGHT HAND RULE (GENERATOR RULE)
It use to determine the direction of the induced emf/current of a conductor moving in a magnetic field.
The POLARITY of the voltage depends on the direction of the magnetic lines of flux and the direction of movement of the conductor.
Fleming right hand rule (FRR) used to determine nature of emf or direction of current because rest two direction of motion of conductor in generator (Input Mechanical energy in generator) and direction of magnetic field (due to stator Field) are known.
A PN junction diode allows current to flow in one direction. It is formed by joining a P-type semiconductor with an N-type semiconductor. Current can be made to flow by applying either forward or reverse bias. In forward bias, the P region is connected to the positive terminal and the N region to the negative terminal. In reverse bias, the connections are reversed. The depletion region where there are no free charges forms across the PN junction. Breakdown can occur due to Zener or avalanche effects at high reverse voltages. Special diodes include Zener diodes, which have a controlled reverse breakdown voltage, and photo diodes, which generate a current when exposed to light.

sempre proporzionale a E1.

N1 I 1 N2 I2

U1 I1 N2
U2 I2 N1
