1) God has chosen Christians to be a royal priesthood and holy nation, calling them out of darkness into His light and granting them mercy.
2) As God's chosen people, Christians have the status and power of royalty as sons and daughters of God and Jesus Christ's brothers and sisters, though they are to demonstrate the virtues of Christ through how they live.
3) Christians comprise a single holy nation under the headship of Christ, governed by His laws and worshipping Him, and they are God's peculiar people whom He chose, bought, and cares for as His favored servants and precious children.
God’s Kingdom is a people who are absolutely submitted to God’s will and agenda! Are there such people in the world today? The bible says in the last days, there must be!

Cuando decimos el año de referencia, estamos hablando desde el año del nacimiento de Jesús. 2013 de la era cristiana. La referencia es Jesús. Pero Jesús en qué año nacio?. Ver Lucas 2, 16-21
Abbott, "This chapter is in the nature of a postcript, and is almost wholly taken up with personal greetings to individuals concerning whom very little is known. *one the less is the chapter significant, since it shows that Paul was one by no means so devoted to the elucidation of great principles, as to be indifferent to individuals with that indifference which often characterizes a nature purely intellectual, nor even so devoted to the well-being of the race as a race, as to be indifferent to individuals with that indifference which often characterizes the mere reformer or
philanthropist. Like his Master, he was individual in his ministry, each soul counted for much; and thus those whom he had once known in spiritual companionship he
did not, apparently, easily forget."
One of the great stumbling blocks to evangelism and faith is the doctrine of predestination. Calvin was the most vociferous advocate of it, and he built it around his belief in total depravity. But was he right. In this talk, Tony explains where Calvin went wrong because his frame was limited. Tony turns to Ephesians 1 and builds much grander picture of what predestination means.
The Book of Joshua is the sixth book in the Hebrew Bible and the Old Testament, and is the first book of the Deuteronomistic history, the story of Israel from the conquest of Canaan to the Babylonian exile.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…

1. 1 Peter 2 9But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises (excellence; virtue) of Him Who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light: 10Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. God has chosen us to be His Own People: The church age is a special age: Every Christian is a king and a priest.
2. 2 Jesus is King of kings He has dominion over all things. We are royalty -- sons and daughtersof God; Jesus Christ is our elder brother.
4. 4 They [we] are princely in the improvements and the excellency of our own spirits, and in our hopes and expectations; Matthew Henry I’m different now. Gentleness Goodness Faith Meekness Temperance Love Joy Peace Patience God’s Holy Spirit is within me, Producing His Fruit.
6. 6 We are one Holy Nation. Under One Head Having similar manners and customs Governed by the same laws Worshipping the same God Renewed and sanctified by His Holy Spirit.
7. 7 We are God’s peculiar people – meaning He chose us to be His Own He bought us with the Blood of His Son He cares for us as for favorite servants. He delights in us as His precious children.
8. 8 God chose us, bought us, cares for us, delights in us, and made us His people, Brought usout of darkness into His glorious light, and granted us His sweet mercy -- for a purpose: 9 … that ye (we) should shew forth the praises (excellence; virtue) of Him …
9. 9 The excellence and virtue of Jesus Christ must be seen in us, for we are His body on this earth. People can’t see within us, to see our spirit. It is in our walking and talking that we show the excellence and virtue of JESUS to the world.
