EXTRAORDINARY
LIVING
Galatians 1:6 (NIV)
I am astonished that you are so quickly
deserting the one who called you to live in
the grace of Christ and are turning to a
different gospel…
Rom 5:1-4 (NIV)
Therefore, since we have been justified
through faith, we have peace with God
through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom
we have gained access by faith into this grace
in which we now stand. And we boast in the
hope of the glory of God.
Rom 5:1-4 (NIV)
Not only so, but we also glory in our
sufferings, because we know that suffering
produces perseverance; perseverance,
character; and character, hope.
Eph 1:4-5 (NIV)
For he chose us in him before the creation of
the world to be holy and blameless in his
sight. In love He predestined us for adoption
to sonship through Jesus Christ, in
accordance with his pleasure and will…
Eph 2:10 (NASB)
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ
Jesus to do good works, which God prepared
in advance for us to do.
Matt 11:28-30 (NIV)
“Come to me, all you who are weary and
burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my
yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am
gentle and humble in heart, and you will find
rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and
my burden is light.”
Matt 28:19-20 (NIV)
Therefore go and make disciples of all
nations, baptizing them in the name of the
Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
and teaching them to obey everything I have
commanded you. And surely I am with you
always, to the very end of the age.”
Matt 10:1,5 (NIV)
Jesus called his twelve disciples to him and
gave them authority to drive out impure
spirits and to heal every disease and
sickness.
These twelve Jesus sent out…

Editor's Notes

  • #3 Edmont Dantes escapes Chateu Div only to end on a beach with Luigi Vampa a smuggler and a thief with his men. They are about to kill one of their men Jacopo who was caught stealing from them. Some of Jacopo’s friends were begging for mercy but Luigi Vampa could not give this as he would appear weak and loose control of his band of thieves. Luigi “You provide me with a way to show a little mercy to Jacopo - that maggot you see tied up over there - while at the same time not appearing weak. And as a bonus, the lads will get to see a little sport as well.” Edmond: How do I accomplish all this? Luigi: We watch you and Jacopo fight to the death. If Jacopo wins, we welcome him back to the crew. If you win, I have given Jacopo the chance to live, even if he did not take advantage of it, and you can take his place on the boat. Edmond: What if I win and I don't want to be a smuggler? Luigi: Then we slit your throat, and we're a bit shorthanded. Edmond: I find that smuggling is the life for me, and would be delighted to kill your friend the maggot!
  • #4 We are not only saved by grace we must also live by grace. Tit 2:11  For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, Tit 2:12  instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age,

Eph 1:8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. Relationship to Responsibility Response - c. 1300, from Old French respons (Modern French réponse) and directly from Latin responsum "an answer," noun use of neuter past participle of respondere "respond, answer to, promise in return," from re- "back" (see re-) + spondere "to pledge”
