We can not have an argument if it is not debatable. So, what is
the opposing view? Explain and clarify the view opposed to
your own. Remember, the dialectal and the Rogerian strategy.
This should be four to five sentences in length.
Paragraph Four: Refute the opposing view with your
closed thesis statement

4. . Remember, the closed thesis is your assertion with the reasons
you will develop within the body of your research paper. It
should look something like this; "However, Siddhartha ( needs
to or does not need to) experience the sensual world and
Samsara. There are several reasons that support this assertion.
First, Siddhartha needs. . . . Also, he must. . . . In addition,
Siddhartha has to. . . . More importantly, the idea of . . .
The body paragraphs will develop and prove the reasons you
have listed emphatically through out your paper. The conclusion
paragraph will summarize and clarify the reasons and
explanation used in the body of your paper.
