examination is organized at national level for admission into 14 streams and 140 departments being

The applications forms for admission into academic year 2015 were accepted till April 8, 2015. The
examination for different courses was conducted on different dates in the month of May-June 2015.
Presently the entrance examination stage is over, so students are now waiting for their result to be
declared, so that they can go for admission into their desired courses under Banaras Hindu University.

 Date ofResult Declaration: Banaras Hindu University will update the result of the entrance
examination, tentatively in the first 15 days of June.
 Availability of Result: The result of various Banaras Hindu University Undergraduate Entrance
Test will be made available online on the admission portal of Banaras Hindu University. No
offline communication via post etc. will be made regarding the result of the candidates.
 Individual Communication: The marks obtained by the candidate, order of overall merit, merit
within the category of the candidate will be sent to the candidate by mail as well as SMS.
 Re-evaluation/Scrutiny: BHU will entertain no request for Scrutiny of the answer sheets under

Further Process after result:
 Merit List: Overallmerit list as well as category wise merit lists will be prepared. Depending
upon the marks obtained by the student and candidates will be placed in the merit list as per the
marks obtained by them in the entrance examination.
 Call Letters:Those candidates who are eligible for the admission into a specific course will get
individual call letters by e-mail informing about the schedule of admission.
 Admission: Candidates are supposed to report at the institution and complete the admission
formalities as per the schedule informed to them via call letter.
 Documents Required: At the time of admission the candidates are required to report at the
selected institute with the following documents:
o Class 10th
& 12Th
Certificate & Mark sheet.
o Transfer & Migration Certificate.
o BHU Entrance Admit card
o Caste Certificates, Sports Certificates (if applicable)
