Jamia Millia Islamia University is a central university located in the Delhi and offers various
courses in Engineering, Arts and various other fields. Jamia Millia Islamia University conducts
its own entrance examination for admission into 350 seats of various engineering courses
offered in its own premises. Jamia Millia Islamia Engineering Entrance Examination enables the
students to take admission into B.Tech programs in any of the following specialization:
 Civil Engineering
 Mechanical Engineering
 Electrical Engineering
 Electronics & Communication
 Computer Engineering
For the Academic session 2015-16, the application forms were entertained till May 04, 2015 and
the entrance examination for the same is yet to be conducted on June 13, 2015. As per the
announced schedule, the admit card will be made available one week prior to the examination.
While the interested candidates are preparing for the examination, let us make an attempt to
provide them with some useful information related to the JMI EEE 2015.
 Exam Pattern:
o Syllabus: The syllabus of the examination will be the same as of studies in class
11-12 in CBSE or equivalent examinations.
o Type of Questions: The examination will have objective type/multiple choice
questions.
o Time allotted: The Students will be allowed 3 hours to attempt the examination.
o Language of Examination: The question paper will be available in English.
o Total Marks: The question paper will be of 170 marks and will include questions
from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
o Negative Marking: There will be negative marking and every wrong answer will
result in deduction of 0.25 marks.
 Admit Card:
o Date of release of Admit Card: Jamia Millia Islamia University admit card have
been uploaded on the website.
o Candidates can download them on the admission portal of Jamia Millia Islamia
University. Candidates can use their registration number and password to log into
their account and download the admit card.
 Result:
o Date of Result: JMIEEE Result 2015 will be declared tentatively by June 30, 2015.
o Availability of Result: The result of JMI EEE will be made available on the official
website of Jamia Millia Islamia University and in order to see the result
candidates need to login to their account.

2.  Selection Process:
o Merit List: On the basis of marks obtained by students in the entrance
examination, a merit list will be prepared and depending on that merit list
candidates will be called for interview.
o Merit List Display: Merit list will be displayed on Notice board of the respective
Faculty as well as on the website of University.
o Interview: All the shortlisted candidates will be called for interview and they need
to carry their admit card and other related documents with them for the purpose
of verification.
