Eligibility Criteria
For Flying Branch:
Age: 20 to 24 years as on July 1, 2016 (born between July 2, 1992 to July 1, 1996) both dates
inclusive
o Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued
by DGCA (Indian) is relaxed and is up to 26 years.
Nationality: Indian
Marital Status: Single
Educational Qualifications: Candidate must be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized
university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers. Candidates must have passed
Class 12 with Maths and Physics or have attained B.E./B.Tech degree from a recognized
university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers.
For Technical Branch:
Age: 20 to 26 years as on July 1, 2016 (born between July 2, 1992 to July 1, 1996) both dates
inclusive
Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics) Education Qualification: Candidates will be considered
eligible only if they have undergone a minimum of four year degree qualification from a
recognized university or cleared Sections A and B examination of Associate membership
examination of the institute of engineers/ Aeronautical Socirty of India and Institute of
Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers by actual studies.
Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical) Educational Qualification: Candidates will be
considered eligible only if they have undergone a minimum of four year degree qualification from
a recognized university or cleared Sections A and B examination of Associate membership of
Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India by actual studies.
No matter whether the candidate is applying for AE (M) Branch or AE (E) Branch he/she must
have scored 60% aggregate marks in all the subjects put together.
For Ground Duty Branch:
Age: 20 to 26 years as on July 1, 2016 (born between July 2, 1992 to July 1, 1996) both dates
inclusive

2. Administration & Logistics Candidate can be a Graduate in any
discipline with a minimum of 60% marks
in aggregate of all papers put together
Post Graduate Degree or an equivalent
Diploma in any discipline with a minimum
of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put
together
Accounts Graduate Degree in Commerce
(B.Com) with a minimum of 60% marks in
aggregate of all papers put together.
Candidate can also have a post graduate
degree in Commerce (M.Com)/CA/ICWA
with a minimum of 50% marks in
aggregate all papers put together
Education Candidates can be a Post Graduate Degree in any
discipline and must have secured minimum 50%
marks in aggregate of all papers put together.
For the candidates appearing in final year/semester examinations
If the candidate is in Final Year then also they can apply, provided they fulfill the below mentioned
conditions
No present backlog
At the time of applying they must have secured a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in all
papers till the last semester / year for which results have been declared.
They have to produce provisional / original degree certificate issued by University latest by the
last date specified
