  However,

  don’t	
  like	
  complicated	
  and	
  crowded	
  UI	
  designs.	
  For	
  example,	
  
3.  BuEon	
  label	
  should	
  be	
  short.	
  And	
  also,	
  
4.  People	
  want	
  to	
  see	
  the	
  focus.	
  In	
  the	
  prototype,	
  there	
  is	
  no	
  strong	
  aErac8ve	
  focus	
  they	
  
can	
  immediately	
  get	
  the	
  most	
  important	
  informa8on.	
  
5.  The	
  informa8on	
  hierarchy	
  is	
  needed	
  for	
  organizing	
  many	
  ac8vi8es	
  in	
  the	
  8meline.	
  For	
  
example,	
  each	
  major	
  ac8vity	
  could	
  be	
  colored	
  by	
  a	
  specific	
  color.	
  Something	
  like	
  
orange	
  color	
  texts	
  for	
  receiving	
  new	
  resumes.	
  Red	
  color	
  texts	
  for	
  budget	
  status	
  
updates	
  
6.  Ver8cal	
  8meline	
  works	
  with	
  up=recent	
  and	
  down=past	
  logic	
  since	
  many	
  social	
  
networking	
  sites	
  do	
  the	
  same	
  thing.

My  Idea:  Recommenda4on  system     -­‐  This  system  aims  to  provide  the  collabora8ve  workspace  with  recommended  ac8vi8es  for   beEer  job  recrui8ng  experience  between  a  team  manager,  company  (including  Budget   management  department,  HR  team),  and  schools     -­‐  The  system  records  all  job  recruitment  ac8vi8es  happened  in  the  past.     -­‐  The  ac8vi8es  data  includes  the  previous  company  budget  availability  with  a  specific  8me   period,  good  fi;ng  candidates  for  the  previous  posi8ons,  average  work  years  of  team   members,  average  number  of  people  needed  for  each  project.     -­‐  Based  on  the  data,  the  system  predicts  the  next  budget  available  schedules  and  next   poten8al  posi8ons  the  employer  may  need  to  feel.       -­‐  It  also  recommends  good  candidates'  resumes  and  ac8ons  the  employer  need  to  take   from  now  to  future  the  budget  may  be  closed.     -­‐  The  list  of  ac8ons  could  include  which  school  the  employer  should  contact,  when  the   school  job  fair  is  coming,  how  to  find  the  best  fi;ng  candidates,  and  so  on.

What  I  learned  from  the  test     1.  The  one  integrated  view  is  useful  in  providing  all  recommended  ac8ons  and  related   ac8vi8es  quickly.  However,   2.  People  don’t  like  complicated  and  crowded  UI  designs.  For  example,   3.  BuEon  label  should  be  short.  And  also,   4.  People  want  to  see  the  focus.  In  the  prototype,  there  is  no  strong  aErac8ve  focus  they   can  immediately  get  the  most  important  informa8on.   5.  The  informa8on  hierarchy  is  needed  for  organizing  many  ac8vi8es  in  the  8meline.  For   example,  each  major  ac8vity  could  be  colored  by  a  specific  color.  Something  like   orange  color  texts  for  receiving  new  resumes.  Red  color  texts  for  budget  status   updates   6.  Ver8cal  8meline  works  with  up=recent  and  down=past  logic  since  many  social   networking  sites  do  the  same  thing.
