Charneka Hopkins has a Bachelor's degree in Public Health from Western Illinois University. She has experience working for the City of Chicago Department of Family & Support Services as a youth services intern where she assisted with monitoring over 200 programs. She also has experience as a youth supervisor for One Summer Chicago/Chicago Housing Authority where she oversaw youth job performance. Additionally, she has research experience working for Purdue University's Biomedical Engineering Department and community outreach experience with the Neighborhood Recovery Initiative.
