This document proposes a flexible multi-service datacasting scheme to efficiently transmit both terrestrial and mobile services over the DTMB system within the same spectrum. The scheme allows conventional DTMB receivers to continue receiving terrestrial services unchanged while enabling mobile receivers to selectively receive only desired mobile service data. Both theoretical analysis and computer simulations show that the proposed method supports embedded transmission of multi-services with no performance degradation for terrestrial services, and provides improved reception performance for mobile services.

reliable communication even with very hostile channel environment. Video Broadcasting is playing a

Massive MIMO (also known as “Large-Scale Antenna Systems”, “Very Large MIMO”, “Hyper MIMO”, “Full-Dimension MIMO” and “ARGOS”) makes a clean break with current practice through the use of a large excess of service-antennas over active terminals and time division duplex operation. Extra antennas help by focusing energy into ever-smaller regions of space to bring huge improvements in throughput and radiated energy efficiency. Other benefits of massive MIMO include the extensive use of inexpensive low-power components, reduced latency, simplification of the media access control (MAC) layer, and robustness to intentional jamming. The anticipated throughput depend on the propagation environment providing asymptotically orthogonal channels to the terminals, but so far experiments have not disclosed any limitations in this regard. While massive MIMO renders many traditional research problems irrelevant, it uncovers entirely new problems that urgently need attention: the challenge of making many low-cost low-precision components that work effectively together, acquisition and synchronization for newly-joined terminals, the exploitation of extra degrees of freedom provided by the excess of service-antennas, reducing internal power consumption to achieve total energy efficiency reductions, and finding new deployment scenarios.

A New Transmission Scheme for MIMO – OFDMijsrd.com
This contribution introduces a new transmission scheme for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) systems. The new scheme is efficient and suitable especially for symmetric channels such as the link between two base stations or between two antennas on radio beam transmission. This survey Paper presents the performance analysis of V-BLAST based multiple inputs multiple output orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) system with respect to bit error rate per signal to noise ratio (BER/SNR) for various detection techniques. A 2X2 MIMO-OFDM system is used for the performance evaluation. The simulation results shows that the performance of V-BLAST based detection techniques is much better than the conventional methods. Alamouti Space Time Block Code (STBC) scheme is used with orthogonal designs over multiple antennas which showed simulated results are identical to expected theoretical results. With this technique both Bit Error Rate (BER) and maximum diversity gain are achieved by increasing number of antennas on either side. This scheme is efficient in all the applications where system capacity is limited by multipath fading.

Performance Analysis of Massive MIMO Downlink System with Imperfect Channel S...IJRES Journal
We investigate the ergodic sum rate and required transmit power of a single-cell massive
multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) downlink system. The system considered in this paper is based on two
linear beamforming schemes, that is, maximum ratio transmission (MRT) beamforming and zero-forcing (ZF)
beamforming. What’s more, we use minimum mean square error (MMSE) channel estimation to get imperfect
channel state information (CSI). Compared with the perfect CSI case, both theoretical analysis and simulation
results show that the system performance is different when the imperfect CSI is taken into account.

The growth of wireless communication technologies has been producing the intense demand for high-speed,
efficient, reliable voice & data communication. As a result, third generation partnership project (3GPP)
has implemented next generation wireless communication technology long term evolution (LTE) which is
designed to increase the capacity and speed of existing mobile telephone & data networks. LTE has
adopted a multicarrier transmission technique known as orthogonal frequency division multiplexing
(OFDM). OFDM meets the LTE requirement for spectrum flexibility and enables cost-efficient solutions for
very wide carriers. One major generic problem of OFDM technique is high peak to average power ratio
(PAPR) which is defined as the ratio of the peak power to the average power of the OFDM signal. A
trade-off is necessary for reducing PAPR with increasing bit error rate (BER), computational complexity or
data rate loss etc. In this paper, two clipping based filtering methods have been implemented & also
analyzed their modulation effects on reducing PAPR.
Within wireless carriers’ large technology environments, there are three conceptual layers that all have their own place in the network: Moving from the end-user to the network core, the radio/access network provides connectivity from the handset (mobile/cell phone) to the network via the air interface.
Then follows a core network plus service enabling layer that deals with things like coding techniques, transport and control for services, and security and quality of service techniques.
On top of that we operate the actual services visible to the end-user which we cover in this course: mobile Internet access, text messaging, picture and video messaging, mobile instant messaging, video and TV streaming services.
Billions of people are watching valuable TV content and advertising on a daily basis.
Different distribution networks transport this content from the content owner to the
consumer. The consumer has the choice to receive a full set of TV channels from many
service providers, be it telco, cable, terrestrial or DTH operators.
Cloud Radio Access Network (C-RAN) has emerged as a promising solution to meet the ever-growing capacity demand and reduce the cost of mobile network components. In such network, the mobile operator’s Remote Radio Head (RRH) and Base Band Unit (BBU) are often separated and the connection between them has very tight timing and latency requirements. To employ packet-based network for C-RAN fronthaul, the carried fronthaul traffic are needed to achieve the requirements of fronthaul streams. For this reason, the aim of this paper is focused on investigating and evaluating the feasibility of Integrated Hybrid Optical Network (IHON) networks for mobile fronthaul. TransPacket AS (www.transpacket.com) develops a fusion switching that efficiently serves both Guaranteed Service Transport (GST) traffic with absolute priority and packet switched Statistical Multiplexing (SM) best effort traffic. We verified how the leftover capacity of fusion node can be used to carry the low priority packets and how the GST traffic can have deterministic characteristics on a single wavelength by delaying it with Fixed Delay Line (FDL). For example, for L1GE SM =0.3 the added SM traffic increases the 10GE wavelength utilization up to 89% without any losses and with SM PLR=1E-03 up to 92% utilization. The simulated results and numerical analysis confirm that the PDV and PLR of GST traffic in Ethernet network meet the requirements of mobile fronthaul using CPRI. For Ethernet network, the number of nodes in the network limits the maximum separation distance between BBU and RRH (link length); for increasing the number of nodes, the link length decreases. Consequently, Radio over Ethernet (RoE) traffic should receive the priority and Quality of Service (QoS) HP can provide. On the other hand, Low Priority (LP) classes are not sensitive to QoS metrics and should be used for transporting time insensitive applications and services.

in DTMB. It is worth noting that, according to [20], every TS
packet has the packet header (PH) of 4 bytes, 13 bits of which
are adopted as the PID to identify the specific programs in
DTMB standard receivers. As a result, the formatting should
include adding the mobile PID (M-PID).
Following the format matching, PH bytes including M-PID
other than valid mobile data are scrambled according to (4). The
PH bytes are scrambled so that the existing DTMB receivers,
which include a descrambler, can correctly recover the M-PID

to be scrambled by avoiding the cost of descrambling, as a re-
