The document summarizes the results of resource and energy efficiency checks conducted at 19 woodworking companies in Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, and Austria as part of the RERAM project. The main findings from the checks focused on improving storage of raw materials and products, proper material handling, exhaust and dust collection systems, compressed air usage, painting processes, lighting, waste management, worker safety, and building insulation and heating systems. Specific examples of issues identified and recommendations for improvements in each area are provided. The overall goal of the checks was to identify low-cost solutions to reduce resource usage and improve efficiency at the small and medium-sized enterprises.
