What : Conclave is the an event that happens once a year and it is where we will elect our new LTG (lieutenant governor, who is kind of like a president of the presidents) Where : La Quinta High School 10372 McFadden Ave. Westminster, CA 92683 When : Saturday, January 29 th , 12:00-1:15PM This is a GREAT event to go to if you’re thinking about running for a board position, or even possibly running for LTG nest year! 3. Village View Tutoring Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 1:15-2:20! We will need approx. 2 students every week to tutor 2 nd -5 th graders in english and math. We need the following items from your friends, family, parents’ friends & coworkers & companies, etc: ANY cell phone (but no chargers, cases, earpieces) Ink Jet Printer Cartridges (the smaller cartridges) Any Laptops, Netbooks, or MP3 players Any digital cameras or camcorders Used GPS devices and Kindle/Sony book readers HELP MARINA KEY CLUB dispose of electronics the environmentally-friendly way while earning dragon points for every item you bring in! 5. Car Wash for Andrew/AJ’s Funeral What : Marina Key Club will be participating in a car wash fundraiser for the funeral of one of our Key Clubber’s loved ones. When : This Saturday, January 29 th , from 8:00AM-4:00PM Where : Sequoia Elementary School How you can help : It would be great if you guys would show up to wash a few cars! I’m sure it would mean a lot to the family &friends who are hosting the events, and you’ll get service hours for it too! If you can’t stay the whole time, stay for as long as you can! &Get your car washed too!! CHECK the website for more information!

6. SURF CITY MARATHON! What : Surf City Marathon is an annual event and fundraiser that Marina Key Club and many other Key Clubs from around the area participate in! We will be handing out water, cheering runners on, etc! When : Sunday, February 6; 4 AM – 2 PM Where : We’ll meet at the HB Central Library and will be brought by bus to another location! Why : You will get 10 hours of service for going to this event, and it is maybe the most important one to go to! Especially if you want to run for a position! We can take 60, so sign up today! How can I secure my spot? On the website, you will find a link for the medical release form! The first 60 people who turn that in will be secured! Turn em in and make me proud!

7. Friday, Jan. 28 th (right after finals!!) 11am-10pm Come grab a delicious burger and some fries while supporting Marina Key Club !
