The weekly meeting of the Marina Key Club on November 13th, 2012 covered three upcoming events. First, they discussed the Tinkerbell Marathon at Disneyland on January 20th, 2013 from 3:00AM to 8:45AM for the 65 members who signed up. Second, they announced decorating the Rose Floats for the Rose Float Parade on December 29th, 2012 from 8AM to 4PM or 4PM to 11PM with a goal of 35 to 50 members. Finally, they reminded members to turn in their UNICEF boxes by Friday to help fund curing neonatal tetanus disease and earn community service hours.

4. Rose Float Decorating
-Who? Marina Key Club as well as other Key Clubs across
OC and student organizations!
-What: We will be helping with decorations on the floats for
the Rose Float Parade. We help out with this event
every year, and this year will be no different!
-Where/When: December 29th, 2012 from 8 AM – 4 PM
or 4 PM – 11 PM
-We will sign up a certain amount of spots depending on
how many sign up today! We’re looking to get around 35
members, but we can have a maximum of up to 50!

5. UNICEF Boxes
-Who: YOU! During the past month, you’ve
collected money towards the UNICEF
organization.
-What: The UNICEF boxes that you’ve been
collecting money with will go towards
curing neonatal tetanus disease!
-Why? For community service hours and to help
fund the cure for neonatal tetanus
disease!
-Where/When: We will be collecting the boxes
until Friday!
