1. Delhi Census 2011: Demography Age-wise
Approximate Working population: Total =7627040(approx. 45% )
 Male Population approx. (53% of total population)
 Female Population approx.(47% population)
Safe to extrapolate working class Male & Female out of total working population (Age 25-59) in the
same proportion:
 Male= 4042331=> total working population* (.53) => 7627040*(.53)
 Female=3584708=> total working population* (.47) => 7627040*(.47)
So approximately working Age (25-59) population.
 Male: 4042331
 Female: 3584708
However assuming only 50% of Females are working out of total working age female population
Therefore 3584708*(.50) =>1792354
Total office going population:
 Male= 40,42331(25% of total Delhi population)
 Female=17,92354(10% of Total Delhi population)

2. Remarks:
 We can allow alternate days of operation for Male & Female to further enforce further social
distancing.
 For female days (load 10%), we might allow non-essential business to take place to increase the
load on infra.
 To enforce social distancing on public transport like Delhi Metro, We can allow alternate metro
station
 In additional to that, Buses should operate on low scale
 Markets can open with odd-even scheme(allowed on alternate days)
 Delhi working class(25-59) to be allowed to cross border in neighboring states like
Noida/Gurgaon
 Ban long journey interstate buses, trains, planes
