Cleaning:
Mix detergent soap with warm water, wet a clean cloth and clean the surface of
your countertop. Dry the surface with a soft cloth, preferably cotton.
Avoid using products which contains ammonia or bleach. These will tear your
sealant making it more prone to stains.
Clean your countertop immediately right after use, especially if you see spots or
rings. Stains left for many hours are harder to remove.

1. For stains like oil or coffee rings, you can use pH neutral or non-acidic cleaners.
Acidic cleaners might etch the surface. When cleaning the stain, use cloth or
sponge only. Never use scrub brush or pads for it may cause damage on the
surface.
2. For light or small spots, you can mix detergent soap with warm water and with a
sponge; you can repeatedly apply it on the stain until it’s been completely
removed.
3. For dark, big stains, you can use a concrete cleaner that you can buy in any Utah
countertop manufacturers. Concrete cleaners usually contains concentrated
alkaline which helps in loosening stains especially oil stains for easy removal.
4. Another method is for you to mix flour, hydrogen peroxide and water, just enough
to form a paste. Apply the paste directly on the stain and after a few hours, slowly
scrub it with wet cloth. Then clean the area with detergent and dry with a soft
cloth.

Clean your countertop everyday even if you are not regularly using it, just to
avoid small stains or germs from penetrating the surface. Also, it is advisable
to seal your countertop with a good brand of sealant every 2-3 years or when
the surface started to wear off. After sealing, you can also polish or wax your
countertop so it will still have that brand new, polished look.
