4. Consumers prefer to shop online because of how easy it is
to find the product they are looking for, and the ordering
process is very simple: you order the product, confirm
payment and then you can see the shipping status from the
comfort of your home. You can buy any product without

be 218.8 million digital buyers
there. This marks a 1.9% annual
increase from the previous year.
The number of people shopping
online in the US is set to continue
growing. By 2026, this figure is
set to hit 230.6 million.

5. Media consumption trends have drastically changed over the past few years. From Netflix binges to YouTube
tutorials and Tic Tok dances, Video consumption has seeped into almost every aspect of peoples lives. Gen Z
and Millennials essentially grew up with the Internet, As such they prefer to watch online videos over
traditional television, And when the Pandemic shut people indoors, their media consumption habits rapidly

technology. It has considerably changed
the quality of life. By seeping into every
aspect of our life, technology has changed
the way we behave and operate. From
communication and transport to healthcare
and connectivity, technology has enhanced
our lives for the better. The best part is that
it is ever-evolving by facilitating more
advanced features. For instance, we have
come far from traditional audio calls to
instant messaging and facetime. Not to
forget, technology has come to rescue
during the pandemic. When the world was
in lockdown mode, video calling and
putting out words on the internet has paved
the way for connecting with each other.

7. Technology was already starting to become a big part of our everyday
lives, But we skipped ahead a few years due to the global pandemic
being forced to only use the internet, By either keeping up to date on
social media, Video calls to communicate with friend and family. Our
smart TV’s and devices to keep us entertained. More and more people
are connecting to the Internet mainly due to smartphones being
available so easily, There are 5.19 billion internet users in the world
today. The total number of internet users around the world grew by
105 million during the past 12 months. Globally, internet user
numbers are growing at an annual rate of 2.1 percent, but year-on-
year growth is much higher in many developing economies.
