2. CONCEPT
The concept of my video is going to focus on a story of two lovers slowly drifting away from
each other but will also have the singer singing it for example this could be closely
resembling the song “Love me again” by John newman. It will almost look as if the singer is
narrating the acting of the people with their singing. It will start with a male drinking alone
and will begin to see flashbacks of him and the girl he loves, and throughout the song it will
be changing from the boys perspective and girls perspective, while showing the male's
perspective he will reach a climax of him losing his temper and seem violent and throw the
bottle he is drinking from, as it smashes it will show the bottle in slow motion against a wall in
contrast to how he feels for losing the girl he still loves. There will be scenes of the girl
moving on with other men without hesitation to show it is only the male who still wants the
relationship. The meaning of the video should be “Love” and also “Loss” and my story should
really convey these themes easily.
NARRATIVE AND PERFORMANCE
Narrative/story/plot - The performance of my actors will be for a story concept of 2 people
who aren’t together any more.
Parallel narrative - will show both of their points of views to show how each of them are
moving on differently .
Flashbacks/flash forwards- will see the pastimes of the lovers but will also see the present
day of them too to show contrast of how they both feel now compared to them.
Real time - The video will show a lot of real time with the two lovers but they won't be
together unless walking past each other once or twice .
LOCATION, COSTUME, PROPS
Hopefully i will do some of my recording on a beach also i will be doing some of the
performance acting just outside of my garage but the garage will be open because i want to
feel as if the band is a stereotypical boy band . costumes will be hopefully from the elvis era
like leather jackets and jeans also i will try and use wax to make my actors hair greasy like
from them times.

3. LIGHTING AND COLOUR
The lighting in my video will be quite bright because i want to make it black and white so that
it feels as if it is back in the past , the bright lighting in the shots will hopefully make it look
really bright but because of it being black and white it will create a certain kind of hugh in the
black and white frame. The reason I want it to be black and white is obviously so it feels as if
it is in the past because the song genre indie is quite old and original and i want the video to
portray that also i think it will be interesting for people to judge themselves what kind of
emotions I’m trying to get across without colour annotations. The only annotations i want
from the colour is that the song is in the past .
