Patagonia started off as a small company making tools for
climbers.
The companys goal is to preserve enviromental health by putting
time and effort as well as at least 1% of their sales into grassroot
enviromental groups all over the world.
3. Worn wear is one of patagonias project which involves fixing and
reusing clothes, tools or other equipment.
The company lets you trade in clothes, which they wash afterwards
and sell off after you get paid.
Part of this project also involves guides on how to fix certain
things like luggage, zips, waterproof tools.
4. ENVIROMENTAL GRANTS
The company states, that instead of giving large sums to a handful
of causes, they give modest grants, which typically range between
2500 € to 15000€ to hundreds of groups every year for whom this
money makes a world of difference.

Black Friday, a holiday known for its insanely high sales.
