3. Culture and
diversity:
Factors of culture and diversity that would have the
greatest effect on our clients and this program:
geographical location, cultural differences, and
diversity of those different cultures.
Some cultures are diverse from others and may not
react to our program or our clients in the same way.
These factors can be tricky, but it is important for
our program to be prepared for many differences in
cultures and to be inclusive for all.
4. Organizational Theory
& Design:
Functional structure determines that organizations
are divided into specialized groups which each have
specific roles and duties. This plan will apply nicely to
our program and the goals that our organization is
trying to achieve.

skills

opportunities

6. Overview of
your
Information
System: What
information will
you need to
document?
For each category that the program has been
divided into, there will be a binder dedicated to
each day. Every time someone ends their shift or
time spent working that day, they will log important
information into the category's binder. There will be
sections for daily accomplishments, important
notes, achieved objectives, and shareable stories. At
the end of every week, the manager of each
category will then look back on their specified
binder and determine how well their objectives
were accomplished that week. At the end of each
month, there will then be a celebration for each
category achieved objectives. By doing so, all
categories will see how each piece of the puzzle is
important and everyone can be proud of the work
that we are doing within these communities.
7. Program
Evaluation: How
will you
evaluate your
program? Your
employees?
What outcome
measures will
you use?
Since we have already implemented a designated
binder for each category of our program, we will
also implement a quality-of-life section as well. This
way each person can add information about how
they have seen changes in the quality-of-life
conditions as they are working day in and day out
with each client. This will keep track of each change
that is noticed as well as give motivation to others
as they see the difference we are making take place
in these communities.
8. Closing Slide:
This is your
final pitch!
