2. Our Lives Program
The mission of the our lives program – To reintegrate and
reinstate inmates who made mistakes, focus on our future,
and not our past.
Our Goal for the our lives program- is to build a better future
by assisting Prior incarcerated and felons with the tools to
start with fresh with housing, jobs and schooling.
3. We stand together
In the state state of texas is is very rare for housing or jobs to hire a prior
felon or a prior incarcerated inmate this program partners with agencies
so Jobs for felons or prior incarceration can be obtained.
The greatest culture and diversity factors that would affect my clients and
my program is the fact that we would deal with a lot of diverse cultures
with different language barriers. Our clients would come from different
background, which could lead to how some people perceive our mission
and our goal.
4. Organizational Theory & Design:
What theory will you apply? Systems theory which
is an interdisciplinary study of systems as they
relate to one another within a larger, more complex
system.I would also use the Rational choice theory
in social work is an important concept because it
helps explain how individuals make decisions.
5. How will the work be divided?
● CEO- Founder of the organization
● Assistant CEO- Co-Founder of the organization
● District Manager - In charge of presenting info to all parts of the
organization
● Organization Building manager - receiving and returning info from the

7. What we need to know.
The information that we would need to know and document would consist of:
The percentage of released clients that have received jobs, began school, the
percentage that has received housing.
We would also document the percentage that has not succeeded in this
program as well as why and the change that we could make to to further
clients to avoid failure and they can achieve success.
We would also document those who use this program and the positive
impacts of the program in general as well as for the family’s of our clients..
8. Lets Evaluate
To Evaluate our employees we will do monthly performance logs on all staff
members wich will be conducted by their shift managers and forward up the chain
of command.
We will also have anonymous review papers posted throughout the organization
so that clients can give their feedback on the services that are being provided to
them.
When evaluating our program we will use the percentage of our success rate as
well as the documentation we collect through trial and error within our
organization.
9. We all make mistakes, lets not let our past define
who we become in our future. We can make a
difference with a little hope and help we will
succeed and prevail. We shall become so much
more than our past, a future with a degree, a
house, and a job we define who we are.
