when the Delhi chief minister arvind kejriwal introduced an exceptional pollution governing rule made a buzz around the globe and appreciated as well as humiliated by different communities. in this presentation we covered the major issues and results of odd even formula.

 According to WHO report ,the air
of delhi is one of the most
polluted one in the world. That’s
why the image of delhi becoming
worse and worse considering the
tourism department.
 This worse condition is
necesseriely due to the extraa
burdon of vehicles on the roads of
national capital.
 The level of smog is such high in
winter, even the stars could’t be
seen by human eye in night.
 The dehlitiens are facing the
problem of jamming and health
issues.
 Being a responsible government,
delhi government is taking a bold
step to introduce the odd even
formula for just a trial of 15 days.

3. WHAT IS ODD EVEN FORMULA?????
Delhi cm arvind kejriwal and transport minister
gopal rai present a blue print of this scheme on
24 dec 2015. they said the scheme will work
from the starting of new year and only for 15
days till 15 january.
Rule:- 1. on odd dates only the cars having odd
number will run on the road and on even dates
only those cars will run whom number is even.
2. The rule is just valid from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
3. On sundays the rule will not work.
4.Rule is not applied to bikes and cng cars.

President, vicepresident, prime-
minister, chief justice, speaker of
loksabha, central minister, all cms ,
every minister of loksabha and
rajyasabha. All judges of supreme and
high court, foreign embaassy, all safety
scorts, ambulances,fire brigid.
Single women, only women carmates,
child carmate, women care and security
vehicles.
Arwind kejriwal didn’tput himself under vip category and obey odd even
formula.

5. RESPONSE!!

 The first day responce was
excellent. The behaviour of
traffic police and voulenteers
was quiet co-operative. Instead
of charging fine they were using
flowers on mistakes.
 At the end of first day 117
challans registered and 66
reportes against rikshow
drivers.
 But the response get worse in
upcoming high workload days.
 People were looking suffered
due to this unhabitual scheme.
 The no. of buses and autos
introduced were not able to
compansate the scheme.

 The carpooling formula
couldn’t attract people toward
itself because people were not
getting exactly the right person
with the same destination at
desirable timings.
 Car pucho app was also fail in
lower and some middle class
people whom didn’t reach to
smartphones yet.
 The happiness of the arvind
kejriwaal turned into worry
when delhi high court ask his
government about the effect of
scheme on air pollution and
said to stop this scheme after 7
days.

7.  Delhi high court blamed government on following
issues:
1.How are the Banned deisel cabs running on roads?
2.Are six days not enough to see the effect of
scheme?why is government troubling people?
3. Is The ignorence of people not creating more
jamming problem and causing more pollution?

8. CNG DIFFERENTIATION
 Delhi government started a chit system to
differentiate the cng vehicles. Chits were supplied to
the automobile pumps to stick on vehicles
 But the number of chits were distributed , found more
than the number of cng vehicles registered in delhi.
 REGISTERED CNG CARS- 3.50 LACK
 DISTRIBUTED CHITS- 3.90 LACK
thus transport minister ordered to redifferentiate the
cng vehicles on single day from only one automobile
pump.

9. SUPPORT OF SUPREME COURT
 On the last day of odd even scheme supreme court
backed the delhi government on their out of box
project by requesting people to cooperate with
voulenteers.
 A bench of chief justice ts thakur, ak sikri and r.
bhanumati came down heavily on a young advocate
who had complained the hardship suffered by the
lawyers.
 Supreme court named young lawyer’s act as cheap
publicity stunt.
