Project 1:
Project Title: OAC LRU Configuration Maintenance using Nv Ram and GUI
Client : Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Bangalore
Overview : Nv Ram configuration code is used to manage configuration details of OAC
LRU. In this we developed a code to store and to retrieve OAC LRU configuration details
through GUI and it is stored in Nv Ram which keeps track of all OAC LRU details. Nv
Ram is of size 32Kbyte which is divided in to four parts a) Header Area, b) OS Area, c)
Configuration Area, d) User Area. We are storing OAC LRU configuration details in
configuration area of size 512 byte.

Project 2:
Functional Acceptance testing (FTP) of Open Architecture Computer (OAC) Line
Replaceable Unit of Tejas(LCA): Open Architecture Computer (OAC)-provides the
functionality of the Mission Computer, Display Processor ,Video (Radar & LDP)
Switching Functionality for LCA.
Client : Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Bangalore
Project Description:
OAC is a layered architecture computer with Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) hardware,
VME Master Processor (Slot 0) of the OAC drives the functionality of the Avionics bus
communication through Mil Std 1553 PMC card.
Mission computer functionality is implemented using the Mil Std 1553 communication with
various onboard computer, OAC act as Bus controller in Active mode and Remote terminal
in standby mode. Display processor functionality is implemented using the VME board
populated with Raster-Raster, Raster Cursive cards. Video Switching functionality is an
VME passive card with logically driven by the VME Master (Slot 0) Processor card.
Functional Acceptance Testing (FTP) is carried out to check the hardware before delivery to
the Aircraft Flight trails. The Expected outputs were observed on the Test Rig.
