The project method has been recognised as teaching technique
since many years; it has its primary inception in the field of
agriculture sciences where Students carried out some planned
creative activities in a natural environment or a plant work field
to produce certain products.
Letter it was used in vocational educational progrrams. the
essential characteristics of the project method are planned
activity of in individual and production of tangible results.

According to prof. Ballard,
“ a project is a bit of real life that has been
imported in to the school further in project method
,learning by living ; this life has spontaneity , purpose,

According to William kilpartrick,
Project method is a whole – hearted , purposeful
