Urinary tract infection symptoms include frequent and urgent urination with little urine output, painful burning sensation before, during and after urinating, urinating blood, cloudy or foul smelling urine, lower abdominal pain, mild fever and general feelings of being unwell. The pain from urination can be described as excruciating and does not fully go away even between urination. Left untreated, a urinary tract infection can progress to the kidneys and become more serious.
