HOMEOSTATIC FUNCTION OF
VARIOUS SYSTEM IN HUMAN :
VARIOUS SYSTEM IN OUR BODY PERFORM HOMEOSTATIC FUNCTION .
THESE SYSTEM ARE :
• DIGESTIVE SYSTEM
• RESPIRATORY SYSTEM
• EXCRETORY SYSTEM
• NERVOUS SYSTEM
• ENDOCRINE SYSTEM
DIGESTIVE SYSTEM :
RESPIRATORY SYSTEM :
 Digestive systemis responsible for digestion and absorption od
nutritive substances into the blood .
 Blood transport these substances to the cells of the body .
 Nutritive substances are essentials for growthof tissues and
activitiesof the cells .
 Main homeostatic functions of the respiratory system is the gas
exchange that occurs in the alveoli in the lungs.
 As blood passes through the tiny capillaries in the alveolar sacs,
changing pressure gradients allow oxygen and carbon dioxide to
diffuse in and out of the blood.
EXCRETORY SYSTEM :
 Excretory system are responsible for excretionof
waste products .
 Kidney and other organs are involved in
excretion.
 Kidney are responsible for maintenance of water
balance , acid-base balance , osmolality of the
body .
NERVOUS SYSTEM :
 The nervous system is the major control system of
homeostasis.
 It provides monitoring, response, and regulation
of all systems in the human body and other
organisms.
 It functions from the tiny level of individual cells to
affecting the whole body at once.
ENDOCRINE SYSTEM :
 Endocrine system release many hormones in the body .
 These hormones are necessary for the metabolism of
substances in the cells .
 These also necessary for the growth and functions of the
tissues in the body .
 Endocrine glands in endocrine system is responsible for the
release of these hormones in appropriate amount for
regulation of these functions .
